I have a 2019 Ram 1500 classic. I don't have a trailer hitch and I'm looking to add one but I want a class 5 hitch

The best Class V trailer hitch for your 2019 Ram 1500 Classic is the Curt Trailer Hitch # C15572 because it has the highest towing and tongue weight capacities and is a no-drill installation, not to mention the fact that it is made in the USA.

This Class V hitch has a 2" receiver and boasts a 15,000 lb towing capacity and 1,500 lb tongue weight capacity which speaks to its strength, as does the lifetime warranty that comes with the hitch. The Curt Trailer Hitch # C15572 has a black powder coating so it is resistant to rust and it's no-drill install makes it easy to put on your truck. For a ball mount a great option is the Curt Heavy Duty Forged Ball Mount # C45341 which has a 3" rise or 4" drop or the # C45340 which has a 1" rise or 2" drop. You can use the attached help article on how to select the proper rise or drop if you aren't certain what you need.

These ball mounts have a 17,000 lb capacity and can be secured to your hitch Pin and Clip # C21500 or Trailer Hitch Receiver Lock # e98880. For a hitch ball with these ball mounts you can use # A-90 for a 2" Hitch Ball or # C40008 for a 2-5/16" Hitch Ball.
