Trailer Wiring installation For My 2012 Hyundai Santa Fe
Question:
I have already gotten an answer on the wiring harness that said... inch use the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness, # 118415. I have included a link to the isntallation details for the hitch and wiring for you and links to videos showing typical installationsinch Yet my follow up question is this. The Santa Fe GLS 4 cyl does not come with a trailer prep package so will I still have the connector at each tail light to connect to or will I have to cut into the tailights wiring to connect. Finally where does the trailer wiring store when it is not hooked up to the trailer? Thank you, you have been great.

The T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness, part # 118415, will plug inline with the tail light wiring behind each tail light. This wiring harness does not require a trailer prep package to install. The # 118415 is a plug and play wiring harness and does not require any splicing of wiring.
The 4-way trailer plug will be stored in the rear cargo area of your Santa Fe when it is not being used. When you are using the 4-way trailer plug, you can just feed it over the rear door weather stripping.
I have linked instructions and a video installation of the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness, part # 118415 which will show how the harness will install.
