The coil spring works great. I saw a ramp door online and copied it for my shed. I built the ramp door from the shed double opening doors and used most of the parts from etrailer.com The dual spring is used to assist opening and closing the ramp door. I calculated the weight and called etrailer.com and they helped me size the dual spring.
Very fast delivery. Easy to install and adjust. Would buy again.
I JUST GOT AROUND To opening the box i was pretty disappointed that there is no mounting hardware 4 bolts with nuts 2 cables 2 brakets and 2 cables not impressed

Worked well, cut down the bar to fit our trailer needs and bolted right up. Right side pulley was bent, (Probably from Shipping). Working with them for a replacement. Just took the pulley off the old to get the trailer back on the road. Installed quickly with 2 guys and everything was as described when purchased.
Easy to install, makes opening and closing the ramp door a breeze.

I have a home repair buisness and repair and install garage doors so it was a great benifit in intalling this ramp door spring. The quality of these are right up there with whats on your garage door just lighter duty springs. Be sure to weigh your door to get the correct springs. Customer service was beyond great, thank you to all reps.
This was a great purchase. I modified the rear door on my trailer and this came with everything that I needed to install it. We use the trailer almost every weekend for 3 seasons. it works just as good now as the day I installed it.
I ordered it and it was here in 3 days! Good quality, Nice price & Fast shipping! Nobody local would sell us one because we weren't using it for a ramp door! We used it to assist in lifting the 80lb. stairs on a truck. Works great, There won't be any back injuries now.

Works very well,I was worried because I had to cut down the length ,had to take off one spring because of how short I had to make it.But I am very pleased and the door lifts great.
