Roof Rack for 2019 Subaru Outback with Rails to Carry Hullavator and Hull-a-Port

Question:

The 47 inch bar would definitely not work for two Hullavators; thanks for calling that to our attention and that information has been edited. You would need crossbars that are a minimum of 76 inches for a pair of Hullavators.

The Thule Hullavator Pro Kayak Carrier # TH898 requires 31 inches of space on the crossbar and your Thule Hull-a-Port XT Kayak Carrier TH848 measures 20 inches according to Thule so while you may be able to use the 53 inch Thule AeroBlade Load Bars THARB53B (Black) or THARB53 (Silver) it would be a very, very tight fit and I would not recommend using this set up. Instead, the option I recommend is to use the Thule Hull-a-Port Kayak Carrier # TH834 which is 16-1/2 inches wide; this will require Watersports Adapter for Aeroblade # THXADAPT11 to mount to the AeroBlade bars. The 53 inch bars will not require one end to stick out further from your '19 Outback because these bars are longer than the 47 inch bars that are normally recommended for your car so they can be set up to have the ends extend out the same length. In order to use the AeroBlade Load Bars THARB53B (Black) or THARB53 (Silver) on your Outback with a stowable rack system you would also need the Thule Podium Foot Pack # TH460R and Fit Kit # THKIT4063. And though the Hull-A-Port # TH834 does not have a locking mechanism you can lock the roof rack and Hullavator and have it keyed alike with the use of Thule One-Key System Lock Cylinders - Qty 6 # TH450600. I have added links to a number of video reviews for you to check out as well.
