Upgrading From 54" Rhino Rack Vortex Crossbars To 59" Rhino Rack Vortex Crossbars

Hi, I purchased the Rhino legs and mounting kit for a 2020 Infinity QX60 with no existing rails or crossovers. The kit has measurements for a 54inch Vortex bar however, I am hoping to use a slightly larger 59inch bar. Will the measurement strip cut lengths 179mm and 171mm have to be adjusted for the larger bars? If so are you able to provide the length of the center metal strip on the underside of the 54inch bar that the strips abut? Subtracting this length from the strip on the 59inch bar would seem to be the simplest way to adjust. For example, the strip on the 59inch bar measures 35 5/16. Thanks!

I talked to Rhino Rack in regard to you upgrading your 54" Vortex Crossbars # RRVA137B-2 to the 59" Vortex Aero Crossbars # RRVA150B-2. I was told that you need to install the legs about 63.5mm (2-1/2") from the strip. You could also just set the longer bars in place and make sure it is completely centered on each side then attach the legs. I attached a demonstration video for you to check out.
