Availability of 15 Inch Trailer Wheel w/ 2.25 Inch Diameter Pilot Hole

Question:

Hi. I need a spare trailer rim/tire 15 in. My lug pattern is 5x4.5, but my center hole is only 2.25 inches. Any chance of finding that wheel?

The only time it's important that the wheel's pilot diameter matches with that of the wheels you're replacing is you have hub-centric wheels currently. A hub centric wheel uses the portion of the hub that extends through the pilot hole of the wheel to center and support the wheel on the hub. A wheel of this type would use flat headed wheel bolts. A lug centric wheel uses the lug bolts to center the wheel. If the lug bolts are coned, like part # RG02-020 then you have a lug centric wheel.

So, if your wheel is hub centric, unfortunately we don't offer a wheel that would work for you. If it's lug centric, the wheel's pilot diameter isn't important as long as its larger than the portion of the hub that would pass through the wheel. If that's the case, the # AM3S862 wheel/tire combo you referenced would work fine, as long as the combined capacity of the tires meets or exceeds the GVWR of the trailer.
