Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at this wireless remote control kit for your Superwinch 12 volt electric winches. Now this kit will include everything laid out here on the table. We'll start with the wireless receiver. Has a four-foot-long wiring harness, comes with this nice remote with the lanyard or safety strap attached and the mounting hardware to install your receiver. Also comes with this nice set of instructions that'll describe how to install everything and how it operates.
Now this is a nice wireless winch remote that allow you to control your Superwinch from up to 50 feet away. And as I mentioned, it is designed to work with all 12 volt electric Superwinch winches. The remote kit will allow the winch operator more freedom to control the winch functions from a safe distance, whether you're inside your vehicle cab or from an external position for a nice enhanced vantage point. The wireless receiver right here is where it'll connect to the contactor on the winch. Comes with the hardware to install everything.
And the wireless remote, it is designed to absorb wear and abuse if dropped and it is engineered to protect against accidental power ups. You can see it has a nice textured hand grip with this nice safety strap, so it makes it very easy to operate and hold, has a built-in storage hook on the back here, which is impact resistant. And it does have a red light, when this is on it'll have a red light up at the top here. And just to show you to turn it on, you just push both buttons down and hold them for about three seconds, and you'll notice the red light comes on. That means your wireless remote is now able to be used.
If you want to turn it off, just hold both buttons down again, and it turns it off. Nice feature about this is that if you leave this on, if you don't use it for two minutes it has an automatic two-minute shutoff timer on this remote that'll turn it off to protect the battery life. Also it's nice is in the event you lose this wireless remote or you have low or dead battery power, you still able to use your wired remote with this all hooked up. Features a textured hand grip with safety strap, and an automatic shut-off timer.Excellent product. Easy to install and works as it should. We put these on our dump trailers for wireless use and they work great. The remote is large enough to not be lost, but small enough to be put in your center console.
