Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a quick look at this bulldog winch 3400 or 4400 trailer winch wireless remote kit. This kit is going to provide this wireless remote that will replace the wired remote that came with your bulldog winch, as so that you can control your winch without having to worry about that wired remote getting tangled up or snagged on bushes or limiting how far away you can be. This is going to allow you to be up to 65 feet away from your winch. It's still operated. So it's gonna be a lot more convenient for you.

This is designed specifically for the bulldog winch 3400 or 4400 winch, those part numbers specifically that you see on the screen there. So the reason it is so specific and the fit is because it's going to plug right in place of that original wired remote. So very very easy to get installed. I Just plug that in, your control box here is going to mount onto your power unit either using the included hook and loop tape. So you just peel off that backing, stick it on there and then peel off the other side, put it on your power unit or you could mount it with mounting screws.

Those are not included but that's another option for you to get that mounted. So, very very easy to get this installed. And then your remote is going to give you that in and out button to retract and deploy your cable. So it's very very simple to use. This does have a delayed power-on feature to it.

So it is going to prevent accidental use. If you have this in your pocket and accidentally hit the button or something like that, it's going to make sure that there's a delayed start so that you aren't going to be messing up your set up. You can see it does have a lanyard hole. It's going to allow you to attach a lanyard or key chain or something like that to help you not misplace this remote. But overall, I think this is gonna be a lot more convenient for you.

Giving you that longer distance to allow you to not have to worry about getting caught up on surrounding shrubbery and whatnot. They do include instructions for you to make sure everything is set up properly. But I think this is gonna be a great addition to your setup so that it's a lot more convenient and feasible for you to operate your winch. So that completes our look for today.
