Jeff Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're going to take a look at this replacement 30-foot-long wired Superwinch rubber handheld remote. Now this part'll replace the handheld remote with the cord on your Superwinch winch. It is designed to control both the power out and in functions, and it does work on the Superwinch models S3,000, S3,500, S4,000, S4,500, S5,500, S7,500, and the S9,000 models. Also works on the X9 winches and the C1000 crane winch. It is a nice heavy-duty rubber housing.
I want to zoom in just to show you up close. This rubber housing will protect your remote against any impact damage. Has a nice rubber boot cover on the switch right here, you can see, and that keeps out dust and rain from affecting the switch. You can see it is a toggle switch, which goes up and down. So basically it even has a little signal there that shows it out, push it down is in.
Now it does have this nice, bright yellow strap on it that helps it wrap around the wrist and keeps the remote in your hand. Now we mentioned the cord on it. It has a 30-foot-long cord, which provides operation of your winch from a nice safe distance. And the plug on this end is a three-pin plug to plug into your winch. I knew what i wanted, went to the internet for best price. Product that arrived is exactly what was described online. We've used it the past year and are very satisfied - no issues.
etrailer has great customer service ... checked in after the product arrives, and a year later (!) to make sure I'm still satisfied.
The remote arrived quickly (3 or 4 days because I'm too cheap to pay for next day shipping) and the packaging was neat and orderly. The remote works like a charm. It's replacing a Superwinch key fob wireless module that the prior owner didn't adequately protect from the elements. Sometimes old school is the most reliable approach. This is the third or fourth item I've purchased from etrailer and being a repeat customer speaks to their great customer service and quality products carried.

Excellent. Only gripe I have is my plug is different which means
I will have to rewire it. No-Problem but a better pic. of the plug where
it plugs in would of helped me order possibly the correct one. Rathethen have to rewire the current one. I would definately
order from this company again.
I received the product earlier than expected. It was packed very good. Everything I needed to change the socket was included. This was a great item. It took more time to remove the cover from the wench than to hook up the new socket. Thanks

Thanks for the follow up. We continue to be happy with this product. We have not had any performance issues and the length of the wiring makes it possible for one person to easily secure and load a vehicle, it reaches to the end of our car trailer. Appreciate the quality product and the great customer service. The next trailer accessory we need youre my first stop.
