Bought 2 ladder brackets to repair a broken ladder end that got caught and broke. My husband used the brackets and black 1 inch PVC conduit to replace the bottom rung of the ladder. We are pleased with the results of this repair and will no doubt be using etrailer.com for future products, as needed. I am attaching a few photos so you can see the struts and repair job. etrailer.com is very good for finding items needed for your RVs. Definitely recommend there products and their service is outstanding!!

The part was used to replace an existing broken ladder support. Although the mounting bracket does not match the other one, the support itself worked very good.

Put two additional pairs on my fifth wheel trailer ladder. Very solid now, does not flex or wobble. Feels much better when climbing. Make sure you can screw to secure points on trailer body if installing extra for stability like this.

Product is exactly as advertised. I couldn't find the correct length so I bought longer than needed and cut to size. Not the easiest thing to do, but it worked.

We don't have them in the 5 inch length, but you can trim the 12 inch ones to desired length as long as you make a straight cut to put the end cap back on.

- Availability of 6 Inch RV Ladder Stand-OffNone of our suppliers offer a 6 inch stand-off, but a 12 inch version is available as part # SC8531. The end cap could be removed, then the stand-off could be cut down to the desired 6 inch length. You'd then reinstall the end cap and be good to go.

If the bones are good then you would choose the ladder that is the proper height or that can be trimmed to the proper height to work with your RV. It looks like the ladder on your RV does not come down all the way to the bumper (since the motor access is back there). So I recommend # SP502L which is the shortest option available....
