Replacement Ladder or Stand Offs for a Ladder on a 2000 Monaco Diplomat RV

Question:

Monaco Diplomat, 2000 Which rear ladder is common on our motorhome? The attachments are rusted and unsafe for use. What do I need to do to replace these items?

First, you will need to make sure that the support beams that the ladder stand-offs are attached to are still intact and not rusted (if steel) or rotted (if wood). If the bones are good then you would choose the ladder that is the proper height or that can be trimmed to the proper height to work with your RV.

It looks like the ladder on your RV does not come down all the way to the bumper (since the motor access is back there). So I recommend # SP502L which is the shortest option available. You will likely have to reuse the part of the stock ladder that attaches to the roof since ladder SP502L doesn't reach onto the roof as far.

If you just want the standoffs I would need to know how long the ones you currently have are to see what is the best match. If they are 5 inches then we have # SPN-416 or # 8535. If they are 12 inches we have # SC8531 which comes with hardware. Otherwise you would need to source hardware locally.
