Today we're going to be taking a look at the Valtera ABS water tank fill kit. This kit's going to come with one 1 1/4" fill fitting, that's a 90-degree barbed elbow. It's going to come with two 3/8" drain nuts or tank adapters. Two are supplied in case both drain and vent connections are made on the main body panels. It's going to come with 2 90-degree 3/8" barbed fittings. These are for use in connecting drain and vent tubing.
And it's going to come with one 3/8" pipe plug. It's also going to come with a 1/4 pint of solvent cement. The brush is in the can. Now, keep in mind that fill fittings attach to the top panel, or top edge of side panels, of the water tank body, or to the top edge of the endcap. Drain fittings go to the bottom edge of the side panels or endcap. Vent fittings go to the top panel of the tank, or top edge of side panels, or endcap. When it comes to drilling out the appropriate holes in your tank, the included instructions, they do a great job of walking you through the entire process step by step, all the way through the installation, and instructions for using the included solvent.
Right here in the center section, it's going to indicate with a detailed guide the exact hole sizing that needs to be drilled for each fitting that's included with this kit. Definitely don't disregard this. You want to hang on to this. That way you can make sure all the holes are what they need to be. Good attachments to have for a simple build or additional mod
Very good product, welded very well, no problems or issues.
The barbed elbows are 3/8", but my pump hose is 1/2", so I have to ise a reducer. It would be better if the specs and video review mentioned the outlet size.
It's a good product, but didn't fit all my needs for installing my tank
