This was a fast easy Transaction with E-trailer and I use them for just about all my parts for the RV.
The installation was super easy.
This Tank fits quite a few different Models.
When You get it you will need to drill out the already marked holes for your specific needs.
I set my old cracked tank next to this one and just copied what I had with the new replacement tank.
A little bit of plastic glue, which they sell the kit for that too.
Let the new tank dry over night and install in the reverse order you removed it.
Reconnect the lines and your done.
It just does not get any easier then this folks.

The first one I ordered split down the middle upon filling it up and it flooded my van. I probably over pressurized it. It was out of warranty. Because of the size restriction I ordered another one which has been working okay since.

The tank is installed in our Transit van and fits quite well on top of the rest wheel well. I wish it had come with better instructions on the size of threaded that fit and how to open the holes.

- Availability Of A Fresh Water Tank For A 2017 R-Pod Model 178According to the online owners manual, a 2017 R-Pod 178 has a single, 36 gallon fresh water holding tank. Unfortunately we do not carry a tank this large. The largest fresh water tank we offer is a 24 gallon # R8048 and measures 48" x 8" x 16".

If you have it oriented so that it sits taller the drain plug will already be in a position to drain properly. Should you choose to mount it so that it has a lower profile you will simply need to use one of the pre-drilled holes as a drain. If you finish drilling them through to the tank you will be able to use them as a drain as you can see in the attached picture...

These aren't something we offer or have experience with in regards to installation, so you may need to find a way to fabricate or otherwise install one but you can do so if you like. If you could come up with a way for it to be accessed on the bottom of it when vertical this would work just fine.
