Today we're going to be taking a look at the Valtera 6 gallon RV water tank. It's a lightweight, completely algae free, ABS plastic construction. It's going to feature a tasteless, odorless, and non toxic design. You don't ever have to worry about it rusting or corroding. It's a one piece extruded construction, so that's going to eliminate the possibilities of any leakage. It's a universal design.
It's going to feature 3/8" threaded fittings on each end. Again, given a universal design, which allows for a quick and easy installation. Then you're going to have the open fitting right here. It comes with a cap on there, a plug. A few measurements to go over with you real quick, starting with the length of the unit: it's going to measure 12" long x 16" tall x 8" wide.
Again, it's got a 6 gallon capacity, or 23 liter capacity, and it's going to have sanitation instructions located on the sticker that comes on the tank. That's going to do it for today's look at the Valtera 6 gallon RV water tank.

Nice looking and very well put together from the mounting hole to the weld around the edges. Very impressed with the fresh water tank. Haven't put it in yet, but will come back with an update when I do. These tanks will fit nicely, the measurements are right and correct to what they say, about them in the specification section.

Nice water tank. Perfect size for my need. As usual etrailer was the price leader with lightening fast delivery. No reason to ever look elsewhere for your vehicle/trailer needs.

The tank has numerous 3/8" threaded fittings that will allow you to lay the tank down on its side with no problems. For a water tank the Valterra water tank # R8012 has 3/8 inch fittings. You can use a fill kit such as # RK908 but you would need to furnish your own hose and likely a big funnel so you can pour the distilled water in it. This is a 6 gallon tank so it would not take long to fill it this way.
