This T-connector wiring harness uses your factory tow package to add a 7-way socket in your truck bed while also retaining the use of the 7-way at your vehicle's bumper. The HM40157 went in easily. The plug-in connectors cleaned up the wiring nicely.
The installation of this item on my truck took a total 30 minutes. It was so easy that I could not believe the project was done. The package is so complete and that allowed me to place it right where I needed it to be in the truck box. Thank you for the service.

Reason for this site used is because it fit well there was convenient and was out of the way. Also most factory installs are in that location for fifth wheels.
Excellent quality, easy installation too. 99 F350 DRW, long bed , plenty of wiring.

These harnesses are great have had a hard time finding ones with factory ends on them. These guys had just what i was looking for piece of cake to install just route wires mount and plug in very clean install
The most important issue when ordering this type of kit is the picture that shows the type of connectors for the vehicle wiring harness. My '99 SuperDuty had the connectors in this kit instead of the ones in the manufacturer's compatibility matrix. Remember some truck manufacturers do not always use the same parts for the entire model year. Be familiar with your vehicle and look at the parts carefully.
The kit was good quality and was very easy to install. Took less than 2 hours to install. Be sure that after you make the hole in your truck bed, clean up the sharp edges and paint the hole to prevent rust.

I needed to relocate the location of my 5 wheel plug-in. Because of a disability it is difficult to move around, the Endurance 5 wheel 7-pole plug was extremely simple to install. The factory plug- in made a simple connection. If anyone needs to install or replace 7- pole plug, etrailer has wonderful products. They make it possible to do it yourself and will be as good as if a professional had done it. There website if very helpful in choosing the right product for your needs and the videos are very helpful for the installation of there products.
I purchased this harness to fix up a rat's nest of wiring the previous owner did on the vehicle when trying to install a brake controller. This product was exactly how it is described and fit perfectly. It plugged right into the stock harness on my 99 F250 SD and required no splicing of wires at all. Very clean just like OEM. It was well worth the money to have lights that I know will always be working for me!
I installed this kit on our 2001 F350. The price was great and kit was easy to install. Once the hole was drilled it may have taken 30 minutes. The only draw back was the wiring was a little to long.

Had trouble last time out. Going to check all the connections.
The pig tail plug in allows me to now plug my goose neck horse trail into the bed of the truck. Prior to this I was using the plug on the bumper hitch which was not the best set up. Now no matter how tight of a turn I make, no problem at all with the wiring.
Great product, easy installation. If you want to get an in bed trailer plug and keep the bumper hitch plug operational this is a good way to go. Great service from etrailer.com fast shipping. If the opportunity comes up I will recommend to friend or family.
I needed to rewire the " speghetti " wiring mess that trailer companies installed on my truck. What a mess but Doing business with etrailer was a wonderful experience. I ordered a a 5th wheel trailer wire kit to plug into OEM connector and a bumber 7 pin connector kit for my F250. All was Plug and Play. Took less than and hour and all lights, brakes, aux. everything worked perfect and first time. I now have a very clean, professional wiring. Looks better than factory installed.
Also all the LED lights I ordered for the boat trailer fit perfect and looks great. Very satisfied customer. Trailer Wheel and Frame is 10 miles away but I will be getting my trailer parts from etrailer from now on. Great Service and follow through on the order. This looked like the product I needed to put a 7 pin connector in the bed of my F350 to plug in my camper, but I wasn't sure so I called customer service. The customer service rep was very knowledgable about my different options and assured me this would work great. It was easy to install and is far more professional than splicing in to wires. It took less than 1 hour to install.

I originally order'd the same product from another vendor. It did not have the correct plug for a 1999 Ford F-350, so I returned it. The product from E trailer fit the ford harness as advertised. It had plenty of wire length to place the plug anywhere desired.
I placed a phone order for this and they were very friendly,helpful and professional.
The harness was delivered promptly. this is a very nice harness. I installed it into my f250 and it tested great(have not had a chance to hook up trailer). The harness is a good length and appears to be well constructed. I would definitely buy this product again for another truck and would highly recommend it.
Harness is long...if you plan on installing it where etrailer.com recommends (between tailgate and rear wheel), you will have to coil it up or cut some out and re-splice.
Pretty much plug’n’play. Just drill the hole in the bed side and pull the wiring through. Works great. I’d buy it again.
The wiring harness fit my 2000 F-350 as advertised. This was the only website i could find that clearly listed this harness as being a direct fit to my truck.
Product worked great! Now have the same connector in the bed of the truck and at the bumper. Easy installation with the factory connection.
This harness worked great for my 1999 F-250. It was really pretty much plug and play.

Had a hard time finding the wiring harness for my f250 with a square plug on the web site. called customer service and they gave me the right part number. order came fast in the mail.
