In Bed Trailer Connector for 1999 Ford Super Duty that Plugs into Rectangular Tow Package Plug
Question:
I need a harness going from the gooseneck down the the bumper plug then to have it connect ro the rectangular plug on the trucks harness.

To install an in-bed 7-pole wiring harness that would connect to the rectangular tow package plug under the vehicle, I'd recommend the Hopkins # HM40157 that you'd looked at. The harness would plug inline at the connection between the factory 7-way and the tow package harness, or if the truck doesn't have a 7-way, the male portion of the connector will plug into the female tow package harness. You'd then want to use electrical tape to cover the un-used portion of the connector to protect it from moisture.
