How to Choose Correct Gooseneck/5th Wheel Wiring Harness For 1999 Ford F-250 Super Duty

Hi, will this Gooseneck wiring harness plug into a 1999 F250 super duty? 54701-007 I cant tell if the gooseneck plug will fit whats on my truck. But I need the splitter so I can also connect to a bumper pull plug. Thanks.

While we have a gooseneck/5th wheel wiring harness that will fit your 1999 Ford F-250 Super Duty, the part you mentioned is not a fit. There are actually two possibilities, because that model year Ford came with both a round and square connector leading to the 7-way, so you'll need to check under your truck to see which shape the connector on your F-250 is in order to get the right harness.

Once you know the shape of the connector, you'll need one of the following harnesses:

- Round: Bargman 5th Wheel/Gooseneck 90-Degree Wiring Harness # 50-97-410

- Rectangular: Hopkins Endurance 5th Wheel/Gooseneck 90-Degree Wiring Harness # HM40157
