Recommended Plug-In In-Bed Wiring Harness for a 1996 Ford F-350
Question:
I am looking for but couldnt find a pre-maid 7 pin wiring harness that connects to the factory harness and adds an additional 7 pin to the bed for gooseneck/5th wheel hookup. Do Yall have a pre-maid for a 1996 F-350? Thanks,

In order to add an in-bed wiring harness to a 1996 Ford F-350 you must splice using the 7-Way Pre-Wired Car Connector part # 20023. The reason for this is that they do not offer a plug and play in-bed wiring harness for a 1996 Ford F-350 like the Hopkins Endurance 5th Wheel/Gooseneck 90-Degree Wiring Harness part # HM40157 that you were looking at which fits the newer F-350's.
Please note, the 7-Way Pre-Wired Car Connector comes with everything you need for installation so although it won't be as easy as a plug and play it is still something you can do yourself without any special tools required.
