Hitch Centerline When Husky # HT31407-686 5th Wheel Brackets are Installed on 2001 Ford F350
Question:
I have a 2001 F350 super duty crew cab, installing a 25k Husky, where should the center of the jaws fall?

According to the instructions, the back edge of the rear hitch mounting rail would install 29-7/8 inches forward of the rear edge of the truck bed (not the rear edge of the tailgate). This will place the hitch jaws at a point between right over the rear axle centerline to about 1 inch forward of the axle centerline.
The hitch legs are used to help place the front rail. I'll send you a copy of the installation instructions in a separate email, so you can look over them.
If you don't already have a 7-way trailer connector installed in your truck bed, you can do so using part # HM40157.
