Bias Tires vs. Radial Tires
Bias ply tires are designed for off-road or agricultural applications. They are built with thick, durable nylon cords that are positioned at a 30- to 45-degree angle to the direction of travel. The layers alternate in a crisscross pattern, making the sidewalls stiffer so that the entire tire is able to flex easily. As a result, the tire provides a smooth ride and improved handling when trailering on uneven surfaces.
Determining the Bolt Pattern
The first number in the bolt pattern is the number of bolt holes. The second number denotes the diameter, in inches, of the circle on which the bolt holes sit.
To determine the bolt-circle diameter on wheels with an odd number of bolt holes, measure from the center of any bolt hole to the point halfway between the two bolt holes directly across from the first. (Example: "5 on 4-1/2" means 5 bolt holes with 4-1/2" measured to a point halfway between the opposite bolt holes.)
On wheels with an even number of bolt holes, measure from the center of one bolt hole to the center of the hole directly across from it. (Example: "8 on 6-1/2" means 8 bolt holes with 6-1/2" from the center of one hole to the center of another on the opposite side.)
Measuring the distance from the center of one bolt hole on the wheel to the center of a bolt hole right next to it can also help to determine the bolt pattern.
- If D = 2-5/8", then the bolt pattern is 5 on 4-1/2"
- If D = 2-3/4", then the bolt pattern is 5 on 4-3/4"
- If D = 3", then the bolt pattern is 5 on 5"
- If D = 3-1/4", then the bolt pattern is 5 on 5-1/2"

Prompt delivery in good packaging. All inflated with proper air pressure ready for immediate installation. White rims look good with or without decorative rim covers (See photos). Since I have not used the cart yet after installation, Product quality cannot be rated. At this point, I am most satisfied.

Went looking for new wheels and tires for my golf cart and surprised to find that etrailer showed up on the computer at which point I quit searching. Had a good experience in the past for some trailer wheels so I felt good buying again. Ordered on the internet and had in a few days and put on after receiving and took for a test drive . I bought these to replace the tires and wheels on a garden cart. I had 21x12x8. I couldn't find those. These were ideal. Ordering was simple, delivery was fast, the tires and wheels came fully aired and went on in a snap. They are better than what I had, ride well, and look good. The price was good also. I purchased these wheels and tires for my son's go-kart. They have held up to lots of punishing action, both on my gravel private road and off road. The benefit with this tread pattern is that the tires do not dig up the road or grassy areas like ATV tires.

There are no local sellers for golf cart tires in my area. Researching on the internet, I found several sites and selected etrailer.com because they had the best price and free shipping. The tires arrived very quickly and were well packaged in two boxes. I was pleased to find the tires were already inflated and ready to be mounted. They appear to be very nice tires with good tread and I expect them to last quite a while. My buying experience was easy and fast and I recommend etrailer for your hard to find tires.

I received my tires yesterday and was very happy with the quality, service and price. I have the new tires on my golf cart and it handles better than it ever did. The only problem that I had was that I have hub caps on my cart and the valve stems are not long enough that I can check and air up the tires without removing the hub caps. I wish that the stems were a little longer. Otherwise everything is "A Okay".

Receive my tires just as promised. We drive our golf cart on the pavement all the time. Tires don't last as long as on the grass golf course. But they do better than most. Tires and wheels arrived on time and ready to be installed. However, makes sure you check tire air pressure. The tires I received had between 32-36 lbs of pressure and the tire was rated for a maximum of 22 lbs of air pressure.
