Recommended Wheel/Tire Combo for Off Road Golf Cart

Question:

Hi! Hope you guys are having a great day! Its time to get new tires for my golf cart and I need your advice. For the past few years, I have been buying from you the Kenda 18x8.50-8 Bias Golf Cart Tire with 8inch White Wheel - 4 on 4 - Load Range B simply because that was on the golf cart when I got it and you always have the best price for those tires. I am wondering if a different tire would better suit my needs as the golf cart is my all-purpose utility vehicle at my horse boarding facility in Southern California. I have dirt roads, some pretty hard and rough D.G. ground to cover, and even some sandy areas. The golf cart is used every day to haul heavy loads of manure up and down hills. I think we wear the tread off the current tires very quickly. Could you recommend another tire that would hold up better? I am open to suggestion, but I was looking at the Kenda 215/60-8 Bias Trailer Tire with 8inch White Wheel - 4 on 4 - Load Range C. Thank you in advance for your expert advice.

The Kenda 18x8.50-8 Bias Golf Cart Tire with 8" White Wheel part # AM90002 that you have been using is a good tire/wheel combo however, the tread pattern is made for golf courses so it doesn't damage the turf. Since you are using your golf cart more as a utility vehicle then you would be much better suited with a more aggressive tread pattern like the one on the Kenda 215/60-8 Bias Trailer Tire with 8" White Wheel part # AM3H290. As you can see the knobs are substantially larger and will do a much better job of gripping in sand, mud, dirt etc.

I have attached a review video for you as well but I really think you will see a huge improvement with this wheel/tire combo.
