I did have to trim a piece of a plastic tab off as the instructions said but that was easy and I installed a bracket to hold the flat plug.

4.5 stars. The fit was perfect and there was enough flexibility in the mounting holes to easily center the hitch. My only problem was the hitch was scratched and scuffed up from the factory. There was one rub from shipping, but there were 5-7 spots I had to touch up with spray paint.
Super easy to instal onto a Honda Passportl. Well constructed. Works great.
It took less than 30 minutes to install. I used a floor jack to support the trailer hitch until I had two bolts started, one on each side.
Went with this hitch receiver due to the additional tongue weight capacity and the pre-assembled wiring support angle. Shipping and delivery were prompt, and the receiver appears to be stout. Installation can be less than 20 minutes if you are a seasoned mechanic, and you have the required tools available. However, for a weekend warrior it may take a few hours and couple runs to the neighborhood hardware store to get to correct metric sockets and extensions. Overall, I am very pleased with the purchase and, yes, it would take me 20 minutes to install the next one.
The trailer hitch I bought from e-trailer was awesome! Fit perfectly on my 22 Honda Passport, and worked great!
Definitely worth the money, and way cheaper than the dealer option. I had the dealer install mine and they said it was no different from theirs. Tammie is an awesome salesperson, she is patient and very knowledgeable about all I needed!
The hitch was missing all the hardware and the instructions. I’m deeply disappointed and unsatisfied with you company. Because of your error, I have lost money for a job that I needed my hitch for to use my trailer!
The item was a perfect fit. I would give 5 stars but I am being picky since the item was painted over with black paint that did not match the rest of the item. I felt this paint would not protected from the elements. It seemed like it was a returned item, they patch it and sent to me. I needed the item and did not feel like waiting more time to resolve the issue. Other than that, I was please with the quality and fit.
I appreciate how quickly etrailer.com responds to questions and how they were proactive with updates on my order. They were able to ship my order a head of original schedule. Instructions and videos were ideal and saved me time installing the hitch and wire harness.

Came quick, bolted directly on in 15 minutes, black addition exhausted makes the rear bolt tricky without a shallow socket and long extension. Perfect would order from here again in a second.
Delivered with flat washers verses the “conical lock washers”.
Compensated by putting lock washers on and Loctite.
Received flat washers and not ones with teeth as mentioned in the install instructions and video.
I purchased this Draw-tite (76290) hitch for my 2019 Honda Passport Elite, which has the hands free liftgate. Well, I'm happy to say, this hitch does NOT interfere with the hands free operation*! It was easy to install; 3 bolts and washers on each side, torqued it down, install complete... didn't even need to move the muffler. This hitch fits like a glove and doesn't stick out past the bumper (so no shin injuries).
I also purchased a wiring harness and bracket to go with this installation and thanks to the built-in bracket on the hitch, I was able to just bolt my bracket to that and slip the 4-pin trailer wire right in place (no zip ties or drilling into the bumper necessary).
* (Side note: After I installed the wiring harness, I zip tied the slack to the top of the hitch. Soon after doing that, I ran into an issue were the liftgate would not opening hands free. I relocated the slack right against the bumper which corrected the issue.)

One year later and the hitch is still working perfectly. The only thing I noticed is the hands free tailgate is a little finicky usually when youre holding something heavy, so you may need to keep trying for a bit. I have a feeling if I relocate the slack from the wiring harness it would probably correct the issue. But as far as the hitch itself, no issues at all.

The hitch was poorly packaged. The black powder coating was damaged in a few spots and the hardware was missing. After calling about the damage I agreed to $xx off the bill. In hindsight I should not have accepted the $xx, it cost me $xx for a half pint of rust oleum paint that they recommended to repair the damaged powder coating. They should supply in the box a small bottle of touch up paint for just such damage and then give The option of returning it or excepting the discount.
$xx was way too little when you take into account the cost of the paint and my extra labor to repair it.

I am sad to hear that your hitch has arrived with scrathes on it. That sounds like a good idea about providing some touch up paint. However, we do not provide it with purchases simply because, even though it is common for hitches to received scratches or scufs during shipping, it is not common enough to include paint in every order. This is why we recommend purchasing some in your local store and we can provide the credit to cover the expense.

Easy to install with help of another person and once the holes in the frame were tapped out to remove dirt and slight rust. Great fit and finish - can't wait to put it to good use. Highly recommend!
My tow hitch is everything I’d hope it would be. I saved money installing it myself. It bolted on to my 2020 Passport perfectly and looks very good. I haven’t had a lot of weight towed yet but it has been perfect for my scooter carrier to hold my Honda 150 adv. I highly recommend etrailer for your hitch. You’ll be glad you did

Bolted up so nicely I bought another one for our other rig. Crazy fast delivery!!! Here in like 3 days (both times). etrailer seems to have their act together for sure.
Very nice, high quality hitch. Simple install! Six bolts into pre threaded holes on the frame and you're done! There's no trying to fish nuts inside the frame like I've done on other vehicles. I put the rear tires on ramps and had tons of room. You could do it by yourself if you get creative, but much easier with a helper. I held it in place while my daughter got some bolts started for me.
I was considering going with the factory Honda hitch and harness, but their harness is 7 pin and I only need 4. Plus the hitch itself required installing a new cover with a cut out which is black plastic. I didn't want to give up the painted gray cover on my Trailsport, nor did I want to bother to paint the replacement cover. Not to mention the factory set up is way more expensive! I was able to buy the hitch, harness, and plug bracket with free shipping for less than it would've cost for the hitch only from Honda BEFORE shipping. From a value standpoint, it's a no-brainer.
Obviously the aftermarket hitches sit just a little lower under the cover, but it still looks great and fits perfectly!
I went with this Draw-tite hitch because I wanted to run the harness outside the vehicle. Unlike the other brands, It has a built in bracket to attach a 4 pin harness bracket giving a clean factory type look. I don't tow anything major or very often, but for what it's worth, the Draw-Tight also has a higher tow rating and tongue weight capacity than the other brands.
Everything was in stock and arrived super quickly!
Received the hitch and had installed in 15 minutes!
