Hitch Receiver For 2022 Honda Pilot That Does Not Need Trimming Or Cutting
Question:
I got a 2022 Honda Passport. I have seen some versions of hitches that go through the bumper do any after market ones do that? I don't want to cut any holes.

Out of the two hitch receivers we have for the 2022 Honda Passport neither of them will go through the rear bumper. They will install and sit directly underneath the bumper, about an inch, but will not extend past the bumper. You will not need to trim or cut any holes.
I recommend the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2" # 76290. It has a higher tongue weight capacity and max trailer weight capacity, 900 lbs and 6000 lbs respectively.
It comes with the mounting hardware and a mounting tab so you can secure your wire harness connector while not in use. Install takes about half an hour.
To complete the towing package, I suggest getting the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # C56291 to give your trailer lights power.
The etrailer Ball Mount Kit for 2" Hitches - 7,500 lbs # 989900 to give you a coupling location to haul your trailer.
And the Mounting Bracket 4-Pole Flat # 18144. This will attach to the mounting plate on the hitch receiver.
