Hitch Depth Differences for the etrailer, Curt, and Draw-Tite Hitches for a 2021 Honda Passport

Question:

Can you tell me how far out your branded hitch protudes under the rear fascia compared to the Draw Tite or Curt hitches that also fit my 2021 Honda Passport? I know the Draw Tite is a little more recessed. Wondering about this hitch since it is more affordable. Thanks.

The etrailer hitch item # e44AR you referenced has the same protrusion from your rear fascia as the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver item # C13421. These hitches are manufactured by the same company and are identical except for the matte coating on the etrailer hitch over the gloss coating on the Curt. The hitch pin hole on both of these hitches sits 4" inside of your Passports bumper. The end of the receiver is online with the rear bumper of your Passport. I have linked an installation video below. Both of these hitches are confirmed to fit your 2021 Honda Passport. These hitches are custom fit and bolt to your Passport's frame with included hardware.

The Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver item # 76290 hitch pin hole sits 3" from the edge of your bumper. The end of the receiver sits about an 1" inside of the rear bumper.

If you need a ball mount and hitch ball, I recommend the Curt Towing Starter Kit for 2" Hitches item # C45534. This towing kit will provide you with a 2" ball and a fixed ball mount with a 3/4" rise and 2" drop. It also includes a hitch pin and clip, hitch receiver lock with keys, hitch cover, and a storage case.
