So far, so good. The breakaway unit has never been put to use. Battery seems to hold a charge.
Had to purchase this as a replacement for one that the mounting lugs had broken off. The mounting lugs on this are excellent and well built.

The product has nice functionality, i recieved it quick, and so far so good a year in.

Unit was relatively easy to install. The battery holds a charge for long periods of time
I have got it hooked up. The directions are not very good lucky I had my next door neighbor who new everthing. The battery goes dead really quick if left out on the Trailer, so have a battery charger and leave it on a slow charge until needed. Have'nt had trailer disconnect hopefully never do.

This breakaway box is simple and great. I've bought a few different ones in the past but this is the best one.
Never got to use the unit. I am sure it would have worked perfectly fine but It was shipped in it's original box thus when i finally got around to installing it --upon opening the box, the unit was damaged.
It is partially on me for not actually opening the box when it first arrived but there needs to be better care in packaging and shipping items.. even after emailing an FYI, subsequent orders have been packaged poorly as well.

Easy to install, was a direct replacement for the older existing unit. Really like the status indicator, good to be able to check that the battery is charged and ready.
