You're an avid hunter who's just taken down a large buck during your hunting trip, and you want to haul it home to your garage for processing. Or perhaps you're going dry camping in your RV and need to bring an extra generator with you so you can run your AC and stove. This hitch-mounted hoist makes it easier for you to load a heavy deer, generator, cooler, scooter, tool chest, and more into the bed of your pickup truck. This prevents you from trying to manually lift the load up and hurting your back.
Easy to Load and Unload Your Gear
Once the hoist has been fully assembled, scoot your large deer, heavy bag, or other gear onto the elevator, which is strong and sturdy enough to bear the weight. Because the platform has an open floor design, water won't pool if it's raining, and leaves and other debris won't build up if it's windy.
To lift your cargo, turn the built-in pawl mechanism away from you before cranking the handle next to it clockwise. The molded, plastic-coated handle is comfortable to hold for longer periods of time, and it won't freeze your hands if it's cold outside and you forgot your gloves at home.
When the platform has been lifted all the way up, you can let go of the handle, and the pawl will automatically stop it from crashing to the ground. You can then rotate the platform assembly 360 degrees so you can easily position the load where you need it, which will make it convenient for you to scoot it into your truck bed.
Easy to Assemble and Set Up
Once the platform and winch assemblies have been put together with the included hardware, insert the hitch adapter into your truck's hitch receiver using a hitch pin and clip or hitch lock (sold separately). Once it's in place, attach the platform onto the hitch adapter, and then slide the winch assembly onto the hitch adapter.

The product works well for lifting my generator in and out of my truck. The package arrived pretty smashed up, but nothing seemed damaged. The instructions refer to different sized bolts that don't match what was in the kit, but it's not hard to figure out and it went together fine, save one missing washer. The platform will make transporting the generator much easier.

I modified it a little so it would fit in the receiver hitch on my 4 wheeler. I like it, have hauled a couple of deer with it. The only problems, (1) I put a pin through it so it would not swivel and (2) and mounted on my wheeler it wants to tilt downward instead of stay level, has a pretty severe downward tilt, have not figured out yet on how to correct it, but overall I am pretty happy with it.

the cranking cable safety locked poorly designed. very frustrating, always having to take it apart and reposition. would not recommend this product

Need more improvement of the product. Like winch should be more heavy duty, gear parts easily worn out. And locking features so it will not be stolen when not attended. Perhaps thicker metal guage for more durability . Clearance from the ground from the hitch much be little bit higher to prevent touching the ground when the vehicle is loaded.

Fastening the winch with the short bolts is difficult. Would suggest running the bolts thru the channel for ease of fastening nuts. Otherwise a quality product.

Absolutely the greatest idea for getting harvested deer on the truck especially if you hunt alone. Not only great for hunting but also great around the farm when lifting heavy items, such as a portable generator, when you have no help around.

The rollers get stuck often and the crank is cheaply made. Gets the job done though. Haven't had it long enough to say if it's something that will last long but definitely useful to have.

- How To Move Tray On Viking Solutions SwiveLift Hoist Closer to Cargo Area on SUVI can't really recommend this but the only way to get the floor section closer to the cargo area on the Viking Solutions SwiveLift Hoist part # 310-VSL001 would be to cut the shank which is made of steel tubing and re-drill a hitch pin hole where you need it.
