Hello neighbors. It's Brad here at etrailer. And today we're taking a look at a replacement two inch by two inch receiver for a stealth hitch. The great thing about the stealth hitches is the availability to be able to take off your receiver tube opening when not in use. And that's going to give you that really nice OEM clean look. In fact, you can't see any of it.
So great choice for a hitch. Problem with being able to detach this is it's also very easy to boost. Well, if you've misplaced yours, left it maybe at a campsite, whatever it may be, don't worry. You don't have to buy a whole nother kit. You can simply buy the replacement receiver tube opening.
Now this is an exact replacement as to what comes with the stealth hitch. So it's going to slide in all the same. And clip in just as you would, the one that came with it. Now, keep in mind that just because you have a new receiver tube opening, it's going to adhere to the same tongue weight rating that was on the hitch before. So everything's going to stay the same.
This is a direct replacement as to what you had before. Now, sometimes when you buy accessories for another vehicle, you want to be able to transfer them onto another. And so if you've had an inch and a quarter receiver on a previous vehicle and maybe have a bike rack or cargo carrier that matches that you really can't use it with this two inch. Well, that's not a problem because there's also a replacement inch and a quarter receiver tube opening. And that way you can swap out to have both sizes.

So I didn't get to try it until today. The hitch attachment I received DOES NOT have the same shape insert post as what was pictured on my order! The one in the picture and videos is tapered. What I received is not. It's too large for the opening of my stealth hitch. Please contact me ASAP so this can be fixed!!
