How To Move Tray On Viking Solutions SwiveLift Hoist Closer to Cargo Area on SUV

Have a 2019 expedition. Dog is blind and 85lbs. Hard to load. Looking at one of your swivel products. Understand would have to mount then load dog then unmount. Is there a shorter hitch section to get closer to cargo floor? Or a way to make the platform slide forward the cargo area more. Not sure what the gap will be. Ramps and stairs are have not worked. So looking for this or similar with a mod or two. Thanks

I can't really recommend this but the only way to get the floor section closer to the cargo area on the Viking Solutions SwiveLift Hoist part # 310-VSL001 would be to cut the shank which is made of steel tubing and re-drill a hitch pin hole where you need it. The shank section of the carrier is longer by design so you can set the tailgate down without hitting the upright.

Unfortunately, we really don't have any other products that could be used for what you're wanting as it's a rather unique situation.
