Can I Use the SwivelLift # 310-VSL001 to Load My Scooter into the Back of My SUV?
Question:
I need a towable lift to raise up my 3 wheel scooter to push it into back of SUV. Can i raise the 310-VSL001 to roll the scooter out and lower it to the ground? If not i have to buy an expensive small trailer to haul it around

Technically, as long as your scooter weighs less than 300 pounds and can fit on the 36-1/2" long x 21-1/4" wide platform of the Viking Solutions SwivelLift # 310-VSL001, it can hold your scooter and raise it from the ground to your rear cargo area.
Although, there is an issue when it comes to your trunk. The only way that it is possible to use the # 310-VSL001 is by first opening your trunk, installing the lift, loading the scooter, and then uninstalling the lift to close the trunk.
With that being said, the best bet is to use a ramped cargo carrier like the 32x48 Reese Steel Solo Cargo Carrier # PS10401-10402. This carrier mounts onto your 2" hitch so you do not need to worry about purchasing an expensive small trailer. It also has a larger weight capacity of 400 pounds. With the ramp feature, you can simply roll your scooter onto the carrier without having to lift it off the ground. The usable dimensions of the carrier are 47-3/4" long x 31-3/4" wide x 2-3/4" deep.
