These tie-down straps let you secure gear to your truck bed, trailer, or cargo carrier. Cam buckles hold the straps tight over your load. And vinyl-coated S-hooks help prevent scuffs and scratches on your cargo. 900 lbs Max load.

Features:

  • Tie-down straps let you secure cargo in your truck bed or trailer or on your cargo carrier or roof rack
  • Cam-lock buckles hold straps tight over your gear
  • Vinyl-coated S-hooks help prevent scratches on your cargo

Specs:

  • Strap dimensions: 1" wide x 5-1/2' long
  • Safe working load limit (WLL): 300 lbs
  • Maximum load (break strength): 900 lbs
  • Quantity: 4 cam buckle straps

Note: Tie-down straps must be chosen according to their safe working load limit (WLL). The weight of the secured cargo must not exceed the combined WLL of the straps being used. For example, if you are using straps with a WLL of 500 lbs each to tie down a load weighing 1,000 lbs, then you need at least 2 straps to safely secure that load. It is recommended that you always use straps in pairs.

We bought the Swagman 4 Bike Carrier RV Mounted Bike Rack and the cam buckle tie down straps. We've used both and are very satisfied with the quality. We normally don't write reviews but were extremely happy with the service we received from etrailer.com. They really made an extra effort to make sure our shipment arrived to us before we went out of town and their customer service is excellent. Thanks for a great experience.

One year review:

All have held
up perfectly. Have used for a multitude of tasks from tying coolers down in the toy hauler, to tying coolers down on the RZR. Perfect little light/medium duty straps that have lasted.

A year later and they’re still in great shape. They get beat pretty hard holding 2 coolers down in the bed of my RZR. All the mud, rain, snow, washes and they still slide smooth and grip well.

We purchased this bike rack to carry my adult 3-wheel trike as I had been having difficulty finding a carrier to fit it. This one works great! We have a spare tire carrier mounted in the middle of the bumper and these racks fit on either side of the spare tire. I was told the rack would arrive on 1/19 or 1/20, and it was there as promised on 1/20. Very satisfied with the service and the product.

Ordering from etrailer was a great experience. My items arrived very quickly and in excellent condition. I will definitely be back for future trailer related purchases.

by:

Good quality and price for a set of cam straps. The red ones costs a dollar or two more than the black set. However, they're easier to see in the mirror. Safety first!

by:

Just what the doctor ordered- they arrived in 2-days, could not believe how quick they shipped.

Will use etrailer again and will also recommend them to my friends.

by:

They are serviceable and do the job.

  • Where to Secure Bikes with Ratchet Straps When Using Swagman RV Bike Rack Part # S80605
The Swagman Motorhome Bumper 2-Bike Carrier, part # S80605, is intended for use on 4- to 4-1/2-inch continuous-weld steel RV bumpers (not aluminum or spot-welded bumpers) and can carry two conventional bikes of similar length. This carrier is made for use with typical pedal bikes, but not tandem, motorized or specialty-downhill bikes which can be much heavier. The carrier total rated weight capacity is 70 lbs. The installation instructions are included for your review. The two bikes should...

  • Recommended Wheel Chock for Suzuki Burgman Scooters
The 4-3/4 inch wide front tires of your scooters would be perfectly compatible with the Tow-Rax # TWSPWC wheel chock. The chock includes hardware for mounting the chock to a wood floor, for a metal floor you'd need the # TWSPWFKM mounting hardware. If you don't already have them, you'll also need some ratchet straps to hold the scooters in place. Ones set of # 05605 straps per scooter would have plenty to capacity to keep the scooters locked into position.

  • How to Transport Two 113-Lb Predator Kayaks on 2014 Hyundai Tucson
Your extremely nice pedal-powered Predator fishing kayaks (can you smell my envy?) are much too heavy at 113-lbs each for any sort of roof rack option on your 2014 Hyundai Tucson. Their 11-foot length also makes a trailer option such as the Yakima Rack and Roll Trailer # Y08107 or # Y08106 your best bet. Both trailers come complete with either 78-inch or 66-inch-long round crossbars to which you can secure the kayaks. The bar spacing and open trailer frame allow space for the kayak's propeller...

  • Bike Rack Recommendation to Secure two Trikes at Rear of RV with 4 Inch Bumper
The Swagman 4 Bike Carrier RV Mounted Bike Rack # S80600 that you referenced would be your best option for carrying trikes at the rear of an RV with a 4 inch continuously welded bumper, but since the wheel slots of the rack aren't adjustable it may not be an ideal rack option. You might have to get a bit creative with who you situate the trikes on the rack but you should be able to get the trikes on the rack with some tie downs like # 05605. You will need to verify that your rear bumper...

  • How To Secure A Kayak To The Thule Xsporter Pro Truck Bed Ladder Rack
I do have a recommendation for you, however, Yakima does not make an adapter for the Yakima HullHound Kayak Saddles w/ Tie-Downs part Y04079 that will allow them to work with the Thule Xsporter Pro Adjustable Height Truck Bed Ladder Rack part # TH500XT. • Recommended 2-Trike Bike Rack For A 2019 Jayco Melbourne
For your 2019 Jayco Melbourne, while we do not offer a 2-bike trike bike rack we do have another solution that may work for you. Instead, check out the: -Swagman RV 4-Bike RV Bumper Mount Rack # S80600 with the tie downs # 05605. This platform rack will allow you to carry up to 4-bikes, has a weight capacity of 120-lbs, and is made for welded steel square bumpers that are at least 4" wide and no wider than 4-1/2". I have also attached a product review video for you to check out as well.

  • Bike Rack Recommendation for Carrying 4 Bikes Behind a 2004 Aerolite Cub Hybrid Travel Trailer
We have several bike racks that are recommended for use behind a travel trailer, see link. For 4 bikes, I would select the Swagman Hitch Bike Rack, # S64400, and the RV Bumper 2 inch Trailer Hitch Receiver, # E-100, if the trailer bumper is a 4 inch square all steel channel bumper. This bike rack measures 14-1/2 inches from the center of the first hitch /pin hole to the back of the upright bar, so it will clear a spare tire as long as the distance from the center of the hitch pin hole to...

  • How Would Rear Wheels of Trike Line Up with Wheel Slots of Swagman Bike Carrier RV Mounted
In the past we have given the Swagman 4 Bike Carrier RV Mounted Bike Rack # S80600 as a solution for carrying a trike at the rear of an RV. The reality is that the rear wheels both probably wouldn't perfectly line up with the wheel slots of the rack so you'd have to most likely put the rear wheels in the wider slots between the actual wheel slots. It would be very important to strap down the trike as well as possible with straps like the part # 05605 which is a set of 4 can buckle style...

Yes, the Erickson Over-The-Cab Truck Bed Ladder Rack # EM07707 will fit your 2008 Dodge Ram 1500 5.7 Hemi (both the 6-1/2ft and the 8-foot bed). It is important to note that the hardware to install the bed rail clamps to the bed are not included with this kit. For tie-down straps for for the ladder rack, I recommend the Erickson Cam Buckle Tie-Down Straps w/ S-Hooks - 1" x 5-1/2' - 300 lbs - Qty 4 # 05605.

I spoke to my contact at Thule for any information to address your concern about the stability of your 13.5-foot kayak in the J-style carrier when driven in high winds. Although Thule does not specifically apply wind ratings to their kayak carriers, it was suggested that the J-style that you are using would likely be a best option. After discussing your safety concerns with one of their technical staff we agreed that the simplest solution is the addition of supplementary tie-down straps....

  • 5th Wheel Hitch and RV Bike Rack Installation on Heartland Big Horn 3610RE 5th Wheel
Most likely the frames on the 2012 and 2014 model years of the Heartland Big Horn 3610RE 5th wheels are the same. But since RV makers typically don't provide those specs all you need to do is measure the space between the trailer's frame rails to find out if the Ultra-Fab hitch # UF35-946403 will fit. This hitch will fit for weld-on installation on I-beam, C-channel or rectangular trailer frames of widths from 47-1/8-inches out to 77-inches and it provides a tongue weight rating of 350-lbs,...

  • Could Swagman 4 Bike Carrier RV Bike Rack # S80600 Carry Trike with 26 inches Between Rear Wheels
The wheel cradles of the Swagman 4 Bike Carrier RV Mounted Bike Rack # S80600 that you referenced are 9 inches apart from each other on center and the wheel tray that is furthest from the bumper attachment point is extra wide so the rear wheels of your trike should fit well into this rack using the two wheel cradles furthest from each other. The distance between the furthest apart cradles is 27 inches. Now to fit another bike to the rack would be difficult, but if you secured your trike...

  • Will the Swagman 4 Bike Carrier RV Mounted Bike Rack # S80600 fit with a Spare Tire
A couple of other customers have said that they had to move their spare tire so that they could install the Swagman 4 Bike Carrier RV Mounted Bike Rack # S80600. So I would say yes it would work but you might have to make some adjustments to the spare. The tie-down method is up to the end user. We recommend something like ratchet straps or cam-buckle straps that will not give or flex like a bungee cord would. Part # 05605 is a 4 pack of cam-buckle straps that we recommend for this rack.

The load support items we offer, such as the Darby # DTA944-968-924, are not quite as wide as the 58-inch total width of your two side-by-side kayaks. But since most boats taper at the front and rear you may still be able to load your kayaks on this carrier. As long as the bumper is 4 to 4-1/2 inches, made of steel, is square, and has a continuous weld the length of the bumper then there is nothing to worry about, especially since you got the go ahead from the dealer. To relieve some stress on the bumper you can attach a strap somewhere on the bike rack and tie it off to the back of the trailer. This will help take stress off the bumper and add a little peace of mind. You could use straps like # 05605 or stabilization strap # 18050.
