I do have an option for you but we don't carry the factory plugs that connect to the Hopkins Plug-In Simple Vehicle Wiring Harness part # HM43385 on a 2006 Toyota Tundra. That said, you could indeed simply remove them and hardwire the wires using butt connectors like part # DW05745-5 and part # DW05744-5. I am not sure if you would even be able to find the connectors so in which case this would be the best option. According to the instructions for Curt hitch # 13356, linked for reference, lowering of the exhaust is required on all models. And on AWD models you also have to disconnect the sway bar brackets like you said. It might be possible to angle the hitch in without lowering the exhaust but it would be difficult.

You can add lights to your Camry that is on a tow dolly, but there isn't a conversion kit or anything of the sort. The only thing that you can do is add tow bar wiring such as the Roadmaster Universal Hy-Power Diode Wiring Kit # RM-152, cutting off the 4-way from the tow dolly and connecting all of the wires inside a junction box like # 38656.

The Curt Echo Wireless Trailer Brake Controller part # C51180 will still work great even in rural areas with poor service. It doesn't actually use cellular data or WI-FI at all for function. It simply uses Bluetooth to receive and send signals between the mobile device and control unit so it won't be hampered in areas with poor signal.
