Does Hands-Free Liftgate Work on 2017 Toyota RAV4 With Curt Trailer Hitch C13406

remote key access. How does the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2inch - C13406 effect the remote hatch operation?? I have read that it can cause full loss of operation? this is for a2017 Toyota RAV4

It is possible with each trailer hitch that fits your 2017 Toyota RAV4 that the Hands-Free liftgate will be affected and possibly lost, and that includes with the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C13406.
Generally, this doesn't happen, and what you'll have to do is kick your foot to either side of the 2" receiver of the # C13406 to activate the liftgate, but it is possible that the functionality will be lost.
If you're okay with that, and are planning on using the hitch for towing, you'll also need a trailer wiring harness, with the correct fit for your '17 RAV4 being the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # 118578.
