Can the Factory Tow Package Connectors On Rear of 2006 Toyota Tundra Be Replaced
Question:
I recently bought a new draw tite tow hitch and hopkins wiring kit from you guys for an 06 tundra that had factory towing. The factory wiring connectors are damaged. Do you have replacements for these? Should I just clip the connectors off from both the factory harness and the hopkins that I just bought and heat shrink butt splice them together?

I do have an option for you but we don't carry the factory plugs that connect to the Hopkins Plug-In Simple Vehicle Wiring Harness part # HM43385 on a 2006 Toyota Tundra. That said, you could indeed simply remove them and hardwire the wires using butt connectors like part # DW05745-5 and part # DW05744-5. I am not sure if you would even be able to find the connectors so in which case this would be the best option. If the wires don't color match you will need to test or look at the pin outs to attach them.
