Sealed, Waterproof Trailer Light
The waterproof construction of this light makes it ideal for use on trailers that may be submerged, like a boat trailer. The circuit board is sealed, which means that water will not damage the diodes or circuit board.
Combination Lights for Trailers Over 80" Wide
If a trailer is 80" or wider at its widest point, then it requires rear clearance lights in addition to basic trailer lights. These clearance lights indicate the width of the trailer when it is viewed from the back.
To meet these requirements on a flatbed utility trailer where the bed extends past the wheels, you can install combination trailer lights that include the rear clearance function. For proper mounting, the lights must be installed at the widest points on the rear of the trailer - one on each corner.
PC-Rated Lights
A PC-rated light produces a 90-degree angle of light to either side of its centerline for a total of 180 degrees of coverage. This beam pattern can be clearly seen when you are standing directly in front of the light, as well as when you are standing on either side of the light. When properly installed, this type of light can function as both a front clearance light and a side marker light or as a rear clearance light and side marker light.

Have not installed the unit yet. This is my second purchase from etrailer. The customer service is outstanding!! This order was almost identical to my first order and etrailers contacted me to assure that the order was not a mistaken duplicate order. That was customer service above and beyond. Typical delivery time is three days from placing order. Putting all new load range D tires and replacing all lights with LEDs on boat trailer for 25 foot cabin cruiser. The parts ordered were as advertised. 5 stars for customer service, will report back on products at end of summer.

Thanks for following up. The lights are still working perfectly. More importantly your follow up one year later speaks volumes about how you and your company feel about your Customer Service. Because it doesnt matter what the Company thinks about their Customer Service, it matters most what your Customers think about your Customer Service. Except that I had to attach the plug from the old ones to the leads on the new one, this was an exact replacement of the non-LED "waterproof" tail light units that came on my boat trailer.
Had to replace one tail/brake light and 4 clearance lights in a year, so I switched it all over to LEDs. I had LEDs on my last trailer and didn't have to replace one in 8 years.
If the whole job took an hour, it was a lot.
Brighter, and LEDs don't really care if they get wet.

- Recommended Waterproof Trailer Lights For Boat Trailer Over 80-Inches WideThe difference between waterproof and submersible is that the submersible lights have drain holes to let any water drain out if any should find its way inside the light while the waterproof does not allow water in because it is sonically sealed.
