Hi there. I'm Michael with Etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a quick look, at this Kodiak replacement center plug. Now this is going to replace the rubber plug, for your Kodiak XL Pro Lube Oil bath cap. This is gonna work, for all the models that you see on the screen there. And because this is coming from Kodiak, you can trust it is gonna fit right in place with that original.

No worries about fit issues, or compatibility problems, anything like that. It's gonna make sure that your cap retains all that oil. You don't have to worry about it leaking out on you. So if you have lost your original plug, this is gonna fit right in place, and give you that full functionality, again. That completes our look for today.

    It sounds like you're probably looking for the Rubber Lube Plug - Fits 1.18" Lubed Dust Cap - Qty 1 # DC-RP, which is just slightly bigger than 1"; you'll want to measure your opening with a digital calipers like the # PTW80157 to confirm this would work. If you find a different measurement let me know and I'm happy to see what else might work for you. I've also linked all of the available rubber bearing caps that you can have a look at, as well.

  • What Would Cause Water Intrusion on Oil Bath Hubs
    Are you backing your trailer into the water when the hubs are hot? Typically that's what causes water intrusion into trailer hubs that use oil seals. If the seal can keep oil in without leaks it would be waterproof so the hot hub theory is probably correct. Let the hubs cool down and you should see the issue stop.
