The weld quality on this gooseneck coupler is horrible! Our fab shop will have to repair almost every weld on the coupler. For something that is supposed to be rated for 30K pounds I'd expect a certified welder to weld the coupler. But this is not the case because the undercut and lack of fusion on this coupler would not be present if a certified welder welded this coupler. Also, it came as bare metal not painted as shown in the picture. We are NOT satisfied at all with this product!

The Price was good, but the quality control could be better, some of the welds are very poor. I'll be re-welding these in a few places, mainly the reinforcing strap around the bottom of the outer tube and the locking bolt bung. Other than the poor welds, this is a solid coupler.

Oh no, I am sorry that you have received the product in such a manner. I have sent this over to our quality control department to check on the rest of our stock for these welds. We strongly advise in the future that you reach out to customer service to see if they can help before repairing the welds on your own. Our warranty will not cover products once they have had modifications performed on them as we cannot guarantee your safety.

only reason i give 4 stars instead of 5 is the box it came in is trashed and almost falling out of the box.
it needs packaged to take the abuse along the way.
