Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at this Kodiak 13 inch hub and rotor with the e-coat finish and an eight on six and a half inch bolt pattern with the five eight inch diameter studs. And this is for the 7,000 to 8,000 pound axles. Now this is a single piece hub and rotor assembly. Makes the installation easier, whether you're retrofitting or upgrading from drum breaks. They do use a machine process which are minimized run out and warping.
And as you can see, it's all one piece unit which is balanced unit, provides nice smooth ride and there's no contaminants that can get in between the rotor and the hub. It is a vented design. If you look on the end here, you can see the vents in it. This will effectively dissipate heat, prevents any heat related damage to the rotor. Now the wheel studs right here and the industry standard bearing races, both outer and inner bearing, they are included.
The studs, the bearing races are all pre-installed, you can see on the part. Now, the bearings that go in here, the oil seal in the back are- and the cap, they are not included. Those we do sell supplemental on our website and the part numbers for those items are listed on this product page. Now this is a cast iron construction, ensures a nice favorable friction coefficient for necessary stopping power. We mentioned the e-coat finish on the whole wee- part here.
Provides superior corrosion resistance for fresh water or- or saltwater use. Again, the specs on this, the axle capacity it fits is 7,000 pound to 8,000 pound axles. The wheel size that'll fit on this is 16 inches and larger. The bolt pattern is an eight on six and a half inch bolt pattern. A wheel stud diameter, again is five eights of an inch and the diameter on the rotter itself one end to the other is 13 inches.
