The instructions and demonstration video show that the undercarriage does not need to be cut up too much for this to be installed, and that the undercarriage will fit back in snug afterwards, but that wasn't the case. Otherwise, an excellent product.

2014 Kia Forte
I ordered this hitch for my 2014 Kia Forte Sedan. As advertised, it was an easy install. I had to make a cut-out in my pan cover on the left side of the trunk (under neath) so it would install back over the hitch . The whole process took me about 40 minutes. Without making the cutout, it would have only taken 30 minutes to install.
The hitch looks great. Cannot bee seen from the side. It took longer to install the wire harness since I had to route the Hot wire from the trunk to the engine compartment. This one wire took about 1 hour to install. The rest of the harness just plugged right into the light connectors. I grounded the module to the trunk latch plate and tested with my probe. Everything works fine. I couldn't be happier.

Kia Forte
So I bought a Curt Hitch when I purchased my new Forte and to my dismay it was way to low of a hitch for my car. So after losing my $500 Yakima bike rack with two bikes still attached after bottoming our on an exit driveway at a convenience store I decided to get a draw-tite hitch. Taking off the old hitch was an issue. I did it myself but had to purchase a breaker bar to loosen the bolts and it worked, I got them off. The only problem I had getting the new drawtight hitch on was on the muffler side. I had to use a scissor jack to jack the hitch into a place where I could get the bolt holes in the hitch to match up with the threaded holes in the frame of my car.

2017 Kia Forte
I was very pleased with the price and free shipping. This is the 4th Draw-Tite hitch I've purchased for a small sedan. It arrived in good shape and I installed it on my 2017 Kia Forte today. Installation was a little challenging but then, I'm an amateur. The most unexpected issue was that the drivers side rear frame rail was obscured by a plastic cover. I was unable to remove it because some of the fasteners came through from the trunk and that side was firmly covered with waterproof fabric. I did loosen it and cut a notch with a hacksaw that allowed the hitch to be attached. Getting the torque wrench in there was a little tough but I am confident it will not fall out. I expect a long and uneventful service life towing my little utility trailer and holding my bike rack. Tomorrow I install the wire harness T-Adapter but how hard could that be. No crimping or soldering. I don't have to lay in the dirt on my back. Piece of cake!

The trailer hitch wasn't a perfect fit for my car. When I had it professionally installed the hitch receiver caused a terrible vibration / noise inside the car because it came into contact with my muffler. The installer needed to create a dent in my muffler to correct the issue.

The hitch went in very easily. The instructions state that the muffler has to be dropped a bit but I had the rear wheels up on ramps and managed to wiggle the hitch into place without dropping the muffler at all.
The vehicle specific wiring harness is not so easy as they want you to run a single wire all the way from the battery back to the wiring harness.

Simple easy install. Decent instructions (there's a plastic "debris shield" on the driver's side that needs to be removed for install and then cut/trimmed in order to fit back on the vehicle once the hitch has been installed).
Took about an hour with simple tools and a little WD40 (to lube the muffler hanger)
Would have been great if the install instructions told you what size sockets were needed but not a big deal.

I like the idea of a custom fit where I do not have to weld, finish and paint up a hitch. Hoping the holes align property as per the instructions on line.

Excellent fit, just takes a slight modification of plastic trim on the bottom of car on drivers side. Also bought the qorong kit the is plug and play. This is the second car I have installed a hitch from here and as usual everything is apot on and comes with everything you need and exact instructions and diagrams with actual photos of areas that might be of question.

- What is the Towing Capacity of a 2014 Kia ForteThe 2014 Kia Forte does not have a towing capacity. The owners manual states not to tow a trailer with this vehicle. A trailer hitch should only be used for accessories such as a bike rack or cargo carrier for this vehicle. Trailer hitches are still offered for this reason and because there is a demand. I remain very pleased. I have towed my utility trailer and lugged my bike here, there, & everywhere without a problem The electrical harness functions fine. Duct taping that plastic cover back together must have worked cause my gas mileage is up in the low 40s on the interstate. I await the release of your stealth technology so I dont get charged those outrageous tolls for what is essentially a sheet of plywood on wheels.
