Recommended Hitch for a Bike Rack on a 2019 Kia Forte Ex
Question:
Hi I would like to purchase a hitch mainly for a bike rack. I also wanted something thats very hidden or can retract so its not obvious on the car. Thank you! any recommendations would be appreciated.

I would be happy to help you and make a recommendation. You are extremely limited on options for your 2019 Kia Forte as there is only one hitch available. It is the Draw-Tite Sportframe Trailer Hitch Receiver item # DT83MR. This hitch is custom fit and bolts directly to your Kia with included hardware. It has a 1-1/4" receiver like the item # 24903 you were looking at. This hitch will be mostly concealed behind your Kia's rear trim with the exception of the receiver and safety chains that will be visible. This hitch does not have a retraction feature.
You spoke of a hitch mainly for using a bike rack. If you decide to tow you will need a wiring harness to control your trailer's lighting functions. For that I recommend the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness item # C54ER. This custom-fit T-connector plugs into your vehicle's wiring harness, which is located behind the driver's-side tail light housing in your trunk.
For a ball mount you'd need the Draw-Tite Drawbar item # 3593 and then for hitch balls item # 19258 for a 2 inch ball or item # 19256 for a 1-7/8 inch ball.
