I've had them on the boat trailer for a year now. Bolted right up to the brackets. Great performance and glad I finally installed fenders on that old boat trailer.

VERY timely help prior to purchase. I sent an inquiry at 11:30 PM and had a reply by 07:30 the next morning. Order and deliver went very well. Product was just what I needed to replace the HORRIBLE stock fenders that came with my Harbor Freight trailer (lost 2 fenders in 2 years due to cheap Chinese engineering). This replacement worked out fine using the HF OEM fender mounts. I just had to drill a couple of holes in the new fenders to adapt to the existing hardware.

1 yr later and replacement fenders are still performing perfectly. I only wish I had replaced the horrible HF stock fenders sooner!

I recently purchased a trailer that was missing a fender after searching high and low for a fender to match the missing fender for my trailer a friend told me about etrailer. I immediately went onto their website, and I was pleasantly surprised at not only the many choices for not only trailer fenders. But they have so many other items that you find you'll need if you are even a novice. sports & recreation enthusiast. Well I found the fender set needed to fit the particular trailer that I have I made my immediate purchase on a Friday my new fenders were delivers Monday I made the install and now ready to head to the lake. You guys are awesome and you "Rock with the affordable prices that you have and the huge selection. You guys need to change your name to etrailer "Super Store".

Installed these on my Harbor Freight 4'x8' folding trailer. Utilized CE26061G-2 steel brackets to install these fenders also from eTrailer. On my trailers maiden voyage with these new fenders, wheels and tires a strap broke and these fenders help keep the loose end from wrapping around the trailer axle until I noticed. There is a minor gap between the trailer frame and fender, I "filled" this using some good old fashioned black duct tape.

by:

Very light weight and seem to be durable. Installed on a Harbor Freight Folding Trailer using custom made brackets. Brackets made with "Steelworks 6-ft x 1.25-in Plated Steel Perforated Angle" from Lowes. Holes in fender line up perfectly with holes in the perforated angle. Much lighter weight than the stock fenders.

by:

Good fit with the 12 inch tires I also purchased. Looks good and durable. Customer service rep Molly was very knowledgeable and curtious. I've included a before and after the trailer was redone pictures.

by:

I made me a rally wagon to pull with my motorcycle, and found prices to buy one was out of line . So I took upon myself to make my own, Yes I had to search to find what I needed so I found your site and I am happy with the results,I just pull all of my camping gear along with the wife. So to your answer yes I am very pleased, I have some pictures to send that you can share with others, and again Thank you, Richard Self note all lights are done in LED

brackets and fenders went on easily extending the life of this old trailer

by:

Easy to install. High quality. Looks great on my 1976 tee - nee tilt trailer.

by:

I bought this fender for a Harbor Freight utility trailer. The original fender had rusted badly and looked terrible. Using two L brackets I installed this fender and it worked great!

David

I like the fenders just fine while I had them. I have however since sold the trailer I installed them on.

by:

Good fit for my harbor Freight trailer I fabricated to pull behind my motorcycle. Here's a picture with the fenders installed. I already had the cargo box removed and decided to order the fenders. Custom brackets made and it turned out great.

by:

Wow,
The quality on the fenders was
great. Perfect fit, and now I don't worry about the salt or rock chips.
I used the original mounting brackets and bolts.
Great product!

They have held up very well. The trailer is outside about 1/2 the time, but the fenders still look like new.

by:

The fenders arrived on time as promised, in excellent condition.I had to
modify the hole pattern to fit my boat trailers existing brackets, they look good and i think, they will withstand the harsh salt water i'am used
to dunking the trailer in.
I have one issue, the fenders have a step on top that are supposed to hold 300 lbs, i weight 210lbs and they sink in when i stand on them
to the point, i think they will break, just like the ones i'am replacing.
I guess i'll have to use a ladder.

by:

It is doing everything I need it to do. It required some modification to be used.

by:

I had been looking for these locally and hadn't been able to find them, so i was very happy to find a complete set at such a good price! And they arrived at the early side of on time and they are very well made and exactly what I needed. I will be using etrailer again in the future, Thanks again and Good Job!

So far even thought he fenders are plastic theyve holding up really well! Just be sure NOT to use them as a step!

by:

I used a pair of these on my log splitter trailer because when I bought it from tractor supply it came without fenders. There is enough flexability in them so if a split log falls on one, they don't break or bend.

by:

Outstanding Service! E Trailer upgraded my shipping faster to me free of charge. Product came very well packaged and protected. The actual product worked perfect for my trailer. The holes were pre drilled in the plastic for the mounting. I did have to make the holes a little bigger to fit my bracket. No big deal very pleased. Just placed another order for more trailer parts.

by:

I bought these to replaced the damaged fenders on my [overstock store] Tag-a-Long trailer. I had to make adaptations to make them work, however, with sound mounting and an attractive outcome. I consider these fenders an upgrade.

by:

I have ordered a set of bike carrier cradles and 8 inch tires and wheels and small trailer fenders. I was very impressed by the good service and good quality of product. I would gladly order more as I need it.

by:

Your fenders worked perfectly; and at a great price!

by:

I bought these fenders to replace ones on a Harbor Freight trailer I own. They look like they will fit perfectly. I am making my own mounting brackets since the original ones fatigued and broke. The step on the fenders is useless since it is a plastic fender, but it looks nice.

by:

Product was shipped and arrived on time and as described.

The construction seems sturdy enough to protect from debris flying off the tires but I'm not sure I'd used them for a step. I guess if you had really strong mounting brackets you could.

Overall I'm happy as they are easy to install and inexpensive.

by:

You should put together a package for that fender for all types of trailers like the up post guides those brackets don't fit modifications defeating the purpose galvanized steel when you drill and then not strong enough to stand on they'll Bend I'm only 190 lb LOL

by:

These fenders look fantastic and are very affordable! I repurposed a small utility trailer into a motorcycle trailer and in PA fenders are required. So happy I found these!

by:

Still attached to my homemade pull behind motorcycle trailer. I still like them very much, I would give them a 5-Star rating but they don't hold paint very well. Maybe I used the wrong kind of paint. Overall, a very good fender.

  • Mounting Brackets For Fulton Plastic Fender # F008559
The Fulton Plastic Fender, part # F008559, does not include mounting hardware. The Fulton fender is designed to be mounted with your existing hardware, or with brackets designed that are specific to the trailer frame on which they are to be installed. I have linked all the trailer fender mounting hardware that we have available. You will need to determine the mounting location and style of bracket that will work on your trailer. • Recommendation For Painting Plastic Trailer Fenders
The Single Axle Trailer Fender w Top Step - Style B - Black Plastic - 8" to 12" Wheels - Qty 1 # F008559 can be painted, but there is some work to do with painting plastic as you stated. To paint it so it won't peel, you will need to wet sand it to scratch up the finish so it can hold paint. Usually you can do this with 1000 grit sand paper making sure you get every inch of the fender. Then use a primer and then paint in a couple coats. I like Rustoleum outdoor spray paint which you...

  • Black Plastic Fender Recommendation for a Harbor Freight Trailer
You have 12 inch rims, but extra 3/4 of an inch you measured is for the lip of the tire that does not count towards the overall diameter. The black fenders part # F008559 should work well for you, but to utilize your current mounting setup you would need to trim these fenders near the underside so that you could attach them to your mounting brackets. You would also need to drill through the top of the fenders too.

  • What Are The Holes In Fulton Trailer Fender Used For
The holes you see in the ends of the Fulton Single Axle Trailer Fender, part # F008559 are used to mount the fender to your trailer. The holes measure approximately 1/2 inch X 3/8 inch, and are spaced 3 inches apart. There is no mounting hardware included so you can use your existing hardware or possibly fabricate mounting brackets to mount the fender. This fender is designed to work with single-axle trailers that have 8 to 12 inch diameter wheels. This fender has a weight capacity of...

The Fulton Plastic Fender, # F008559, does not include mounting hardware. Because trailers are so different and mounting methods are different, the specific hardware needed is on a individual basis.
