Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a quick look at this Flint Hill Goods adjustable tri- ball mount. Now this is going to allow you to hook your trailer up to your tow vehicle and it will accommodate several trailer heights and connection types. So it is going to be a great option if you are switching between multiple trailers frequently. This will make that very simple for you. So our shank here is going to slide into your two-inch by two-inch trailer hitch receiver.
The hitch pin and clip are included here so very easy to make sure that that's gonna stay in your receiver tube. We also sell a locking pin separately, if you are wanting a little extra security, you can purchase that and switch that out for your pin here to make sure that that's gonna stay in your receiver tube. And then your ball on the front here or on the back, rather, is going to provide that connection point for your trailer coupler. We do have three different ball sizes to accommodate your trailers with different coupler sizes. So we've got our 1 7/8 inch, our 2 inch, and our 2 5/16th inch ball.
These are gonna have different weight capacities. So for your 1 7/8 inch ball, you're gonna have a gross towing weight capacity of 2000 pounds and a tongue weight, max tongue weight of 200 pounds. For your 2 inch ball, you're gonna have a gross towing weight of 6,000 pounds and a tongue weight of 600 pounds. And for your 2 5/16 inch, you'll have a 10,000 pound gross towing weight and a 1000 pound tongue weight. Very simple to switch those, you've got your pin and clip here on the front.
This receiver, you pull that out, rotate it to the ball that you need, slide it back in and then reinsert your pin and clip. So that's going to make that very simple. So if you're switching from a 2 inch ball to a 2 5/16 inch ball coupler trailer, you can very easily switch that. And then we're also going to have height adjustment here so that we can tow trailers with different heights using the same vehicle and making sure that our trailer's gonna be nice and level. So again, we just pull out the clips and pins here and then we can move this up and down on our shank.
You can see we've got these adjustment holes here. And so if we have this in the lowest position, like we have it here, from the top inside edge of your receiver tube down to about the ball platform, which is about where your coupler's gonna sit, we're gonna have a max drop of 5 3/4 of an inch. We can raise this up and use it in the rise position and that's going to give us a max rise of 5 3/4 of an inch as well. And so whether your trailer sits up to 5 3/4 of an inch higher than your receiver tube, or 5 3/4 of an inch lower than your receiver tube, this will adjust to accommodate that. Make sure that your trailer's gonna be nice and level for you. This does have a durable steel construction with a black powder coat finish to help resist corrosion. You can see the shank is solid so that's gonna provide extra strength and durability. And our balls are chrome plated and so they're going to be very durable long lasting for us as well. And these are permanently attached so you won't be able to remove those but they are gonna provide that nice sturdy connection for your trailer. As you can see, this is kind of long, so our overall length here, from the very front of our ball mount all the way back, we're looking at, I'm gonna call it about 18 inches. If we're looking at from the center of our ball to the center of our pin hole there it's right at 13 inches no matter which ball you're using. So keep that in mind, make sure that that's gonna work for your setup. It's not gonna be too long, take up too much room, that sort of thing. But I think this is gonna do a great option giving you that height adjustment so that you can make sure that your trailer's gonna be level and giving you those three different options for what kind of trailer couplers you can work with. And so if you are switching from one trailer to another pretty frequently, this is gonna be a great way to go for you. That completes our look for today. Again, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Bought this hitch without the pins, so I picked some up at the local farm store. Thus the appearance. Overall I could not be happier with this hitch. I discovered the importance of a level, tandem axle trailer on the first of two 350 mile trips to Michigan from Wisconsin with a heavily loaded trailer. After an exciting fish-tailing incident, decided I needed to have the ability to adjust my hitch height to accommodate my toung weight.
I then bought this hitch. Man am I glad I did.
On the second trip, with even more toung weight, and heavy trailer, was able to lift the hitch and make the trailer perfectly level! It pulled great with no sign of sway! This hitch is nothing short of top quality. Solid built for longevity, the fit and finish are both perfect. I especially like the heavy pinch bolt that takes the slack out of the first link. No racking! So glad I bought this!

Still working beautifully! Ive towed a 34 foot bumper pull camper cross country with it, and Ive towed a [rental] car carrier loaded up with vehicles a couple times. Never any issue. This thing is HEAVY DUTY. Well worth the money.

The box came almost destroyed by the scumbags at UPS but OSS no way the fault of etrailer. Luckily everything was still inside and it is just a big beefy Bitch so nothing was damaged.
As far as the hitch goes it’s very nice and extremely heavy and solid feeling. None of it uses hollow square tubing, it’s all solid steel with the pin holes just drilled out. Everything went together easily and fits nice. It’s loose fitting but that’s why it has the 3/4” bolt. Once I tightened that down it’s solid. It’s no B&M but it’s also not $300+ either. For the price this Is one VERY nice adjustable hitch. Short of a fifth wheel or gooseneck I can tow any trailer out there with just this one hitch.
Also, I selected the basic shipping and this thing still got to me lightning fast! I ordered it at around midnight and at 6:52am it was shipped. Not just the label created crap, but actually shipped out! That’s incredible customer service.

Absolutely exceptional. It's very tough to get a feel for just how "heavy-duty" a product is from a picture and specs. I went above and beyond, for safety purposes and get this piece of towing an 18' bass boat, with a Jeep Grand Cherokee. In short, this thing is built for war, and incredibly stable. There's a bit more play where the ball fits into the hitch, that I would have preferred. But I'm not going to kick up a fuss about that. I was stunned at how heavy this piece was for a relatively small amount of metal. So, I was pleasantly surprised. This will last far longer than I will. The price was competitive, and the shipping was very fast. Hat's off to etrailer for having an exceptional business model (including the customer service).

Great product and heavy duty,this bad boy weighs a lot and its built to take abuse. Not a great picture but it works great with my 18ft enclosed trailer.Also it sticks out pretty far and makes tight turns easier.

this is the best hitch ive used in 44 years of driving,and I got my drivers liscense in alaska during white out conditions,dec 3 baby, ive had quite a few and main purpose of this one was to add length,without losing strength and still be adjustable as ive gone from jeep to tundra.

Package appears to be a returned product that was then shipped to me. Box was extensively taped to cover damage. Missing the 2 clevis pins for the adjustable mount. Will have to go to hardware store to purchase replacements before I can determine if the hitch will serve my needs. Terrible customer service and/or quality control! Have bought from erailer for years but will reconsider vendor for my future needs.

This hitch works very well. The Hitch is a solid product, that is able to handle tough jobs.
On the negative side; The hitch sections are pretty loose fitting and rattle.
Also, on the negative side, the ball is more than a few inches from the back of the truck, which makes the trailer light connection, and in my case, on right turns, the trailer electrical plug pulls out of the truck jack.

I use the hitch for towing my trailer to haul my tractor around and I also tow a utility trailer. It makes it very handy to be able to switch the balls back-and-forth. The balls are rusting already. I’m disappointed about that. I wish there was more adjustment to go lower because my trailer is tilted just a little too high when hooked up.

We do carry the Curt Multi-Ball Adjustable Ball Mount for 2" Trailer Hitches part # D900 which has a 6" drop and three balls. This is the most cost effective three ball adjustable ball mount option with more drop. If you need a 7" drop then I recommend to use B&W Tow & Stow 3-Ball Mount part # BWTS10049B.

I have three different trailers I pull behind my F150 - a livestock trailer and two haulers, a 12' and a 16'. This adjustable hitch has made leveling them much easier, not to mention the advantage of the adjustable ball sizes. Definitely money well spent.

Hitch has a little play & causes a little bit of sway, adjust tongue weight & tows ok. Very satisfied with product. Package was damaged in shipping & parts missing, but etrailer got right on it & new hitch was here in 2 days!!

I purchased this receiver hitch a year ago and have been very satisfied with it from day one. I use it on my 23 foot cuddy cabin boat, a double axle toy hauler trailer down to an eight foot utility trailer. With a simple rotation of the balls in the receiver we are good to go. I would by this product again but due to the quality and workmanship I know the need will not arise.

This product is well made and well designed. It's a must-have for anyone with more than one trailer and more than one vehicle. It accommodates different sizes and different heights of trailers with an easy adjustment. Safety and balance in towing is a high priority and worth having the most important equipment of all: the hitch! We're towing precious cargo when we have our horses trusting us with their lives.

This is the second product from etrailer. Love my B&W 3 ball and Stow. This one is for my wifes car. Tired of looking for the right hitch when I needed it. Not anymore!

Therefore, you'll want to take this measurement and subtract this from the distance from the ground to the top inside edge of the receiver on the vehicle.
