Hi there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a quick look at this BLUEOX adjustable two ball mount. This ball mount is going to allow you to hook up your trailer to your tow vehicle. And the shank here will slide into your two inch by two inch trailer hitch receiver on your vehicle. They do include a pin and clip to keep it in place.

So it's not gonna wiggle its way out. It's just your standard five eights inch diameter pin. If you want, we do also have locking pins available. Those are sold separately. That will give you a little extra security there and make sure no one can come along and take off with your ball mount.

But once you have this installed on your tow vehicle it is going to provide these two balls to connect to your trailer coupler. So we've got our two inch ball here and our two and five 16th inch ball. So this is going to give us a lot of versatility in the trailers that we can tow. So we can very easily switch from the two inch ball. Move that clip, pull out the pin, just flip that over and use that two and five 16th inch ball there.

So if you're gonna be moving from one trailer to another very simple to just switch those there. If you are using your two inch ball you're going to have a gross towing weight capacity of 8,000 pounds. If you're using the two and five 16th inch ball you'll have a gross towing weight capacity of 10,000 pounds. Both balls are going to have a 1000 pound tongue weight which is the pressure pushing down on the ball itself. And we are also going to have height adjustment capabilities.

So as you can see, we've got several different holes here so we can accommodate different trailer heights. So if your cover sits a little bit lower than your hitch you can lower it down. Pass the pin through, get it clipped in like that. If we have this set at its lowest setting in the drop position here, which I'm gonna have to turn this to the side, to get that installed at our lowest, we're going to have a maximum drop of three and three quarters of an inch. That's measured from the top inside edge of your receiver tube, down to where your coupler is gonna sit. So here on the ball mountain itself, it's gonna be the top of our shank down to this ball platform here. So it's gonna be about three and three quarters of an inch drop. You can also use this in the rise position. That's gonna give us about a three and three quarter inch rise as well. These are the adjustments are in one inch increments. So you're gonna have a lot of room there to accommodate different trailers between those two extremes, so that you can make sure that whether your coupler is a little bit lower than your receiver or a little bit higher, you'll be able to make sure that it's going ride nice and level for you. Our machined ball here is going to fit very snug in our channel. So it is going to reduce your rattling to help eliminate towing noise. So you're gonna have a nice, smooth, quiet ride. This is constructed of a heavy duty steel construction. So it's going to be very long lasting for you. Our shank here does have a black powder coat finish on it. The balls have a zinc coating. So those are both going to act to help resist rust and corrosion to ensure that this will last a nice long time for us.
