This adjustable ball mount has a maximum capacity of 30,000 lbs, making it ideal for heavy-duty towing. Because of its sturdy steel construction, this BulletProof Hitches adjustable ball mount can handle loads up to 30,000 lbs, making it perfect for heavy-duty towing jobs.
The adjustable channel is made of 5/16" thick, laser-cut steel plates. These steel plates can handle high capacities without bending. And because of the laser cutting, the channel plates have consistently sized pin holes, so you can easily remove or reposition the hitch ball platform.
A 1/2" thick steel gusset is welded between the shank and the channel, bracing the mount and keeping the channel from bending, even at the maximum drop or rise.
The solid steel shank is CNC -chamfered, making it easy to slide the shank into and out of your hitch receiver. And with no sharp edges on the shank, the powder coating is less likely to chip and peel.
Each adjustable mount includes a 2-ball platform, which fits in the adjustable channel. The 2 hitch balls are welded onto the solid steel platform for maximum strength and stability.
Finally, the pins and clips included with the ball mount are made of heat-treated steel to withstand the heavy weight from your load. The nickel undercoat with zinc topcoat provides corrosion resistance and ensures the strength of the pin.

To set up this BulletProof Hitches adjustable ball mount, insert the 2" x 2" shank into your hitch's receiver. Slide the 2-ball platform into the adjustable channel, then use the included pins and clips to secure the platform at the height you need. If you need to switch hitch balls, just remove the pins and clips, flip the ball platform over, and reinsert the pins and clips to secure the balls in place. It's that easy.
This BulletProof Hitches adjustable ball mount is compatible with a wide variety of accessories (sold separately). Instead of using the included ball to tow, you can install a weight distribution shank (358WEIGHTDIST) in the channel of the mount to attach your weight distribution system. Add a clevis (358CLEVIS) or shackle attachment (358EDSA) for off-road or recovery operations. Or simply add a hitch step (358STEP) to easily access your truck bed.

Today we'll be taking a look at the BulletProof Hitches' Adjustable 2-Ball Mount. This is going to be a secure connection point between your trailer and your towing vehicle. BulletProof Hitches makes a very durable, well built ball mount. This is going to have a nice gusset at the back to give us some extra reinforcement for our shank and the channel. All the welds are going all the way around, so we know it's going to have a very sturdy construction. Same thing for the ball platform, with our two different adjustable balls.
We'll have a two inch and a two and five sixteenth inch. This is going to give us a four inch drop or rise. Right now it's in the drop position. And the way that you'll find the drop or rise that you need for your trailer is to measure from the inside top edge of your hitch to the ground and then measure from the top of the coupler to the ground, subtract those two.If you get a measurement where your truck is higher than your trailer, you need a drop. If your trailer is higher than your truck, then you need a rise.
So again, this is going to give us four inches of drop or rise and we'll have three levels of adjustment. In between each of those holes measures two inches apart. So center to center, the holes are two inches. The distance from the center of the ball to that first hitch pin hole is 11 and a half inches. To that second hole, it's 13 inches.
So that gives us a little bit of adjustment in and out to get our spacing correct for our trailer. Now whenever you're taking those measurements to find the drop or rise that you need for your vehicle, you want to make sure that you're on level ground, that your trailer is level. That way everything is level all across the board and it makes for a much more enjoyable towing experience because you won't have that bowing in the middle or going up, which can cause a lot of issues going down the road.But being able to adjust our ball mount, that's also going to let us tow with different trailers, different vehicles, we'll have our two different balls, work with different coupler sizes, as well. So it makes it a lot simpler than having multiple ball mounts we have to mess with. We can just have one system.
There are a lot of different configurations of the bulletproof hitches, including a greater drop to rises, and also different shank sizes. This one is going to fit a two inch by two inch hitch. This is ideal for vehicles that have between 12 and 18 inches of clearance from the ground to the bottom of the receiver tube.The overall height, measuring from the bottom of the channel to the top, is 10 inches. Our gross towing weight whenever we use the two inch ball is 12,000 pounds. Whenever we use the two and five sixteenth inch ball, it's 30,000 pounds. And the towing weight capacity for both of those is 6,000 pounds. That makes a very well built, heavy duty ball mount for just about anything that we'd be towing out there. The product itself weighs about 38 pounds and it does come with a limited lifetime warranty from BulletProof Hitches, and this product is made in the USA. I need a solution for my BMW SUV to tow my boat and trailer with two ball sizes and very different height requirements. This worked perfectly. The name Bulletproof fits well - I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and engineering.

Sent me the wrong hitch. Ordered the 6” drop, received the 4” drop. Hitch itself is ok, powder coating wore off ball and where it goes into receiver on first use.
I bought this hitch just under one year. To date, the hitch has performed fine. HOWEVER, the cheap powder coating has turned the entire hitch into a an eyesore. Its just rusting like mad, and the powder coat is now flaking in large chunks. Looks like crap on the back of the truck. I don't even live in an area where salt accumulates or they use it on the roadway.
Fast delivery, well packed, and the hitch is bad a**, heavy duty quality and very versatile. If your looking for an adjustable hitch this is what you want!!!
Beyond expectations. People come by complimenting on my hitch and asking where I bought it. I did not realize other hitches break. Well, this one won't break

Extremely noisy. Powder coat peeled almost immediately and the tolerances on the pins makes this rattle horribly. I finally got so sick of the noise I cut foam to put between the ball mount and receiver. This hitch has not seen much use and only for light duty (under 10k lbs). I won't buy another one. All of the other hitches we have are Andersen Rapid Hitch. I tried this after all the claims by BulletProof on how great they are. Very disappointed
I own several adjustable 2-1/2" hitches and like this one a lot. It isn't terribly heavy for being steel and is very easy to adjust. I like the pins versus the key-operated mechanism on my aluminum adjustable hitch. Works great with my Chevy 2500 and various trailers and boats from 5000 to 14000 lbs.
Well packaged, fast shipping, it's going to give me the adjustability I need on my hitch and maintain the hitch towing capacity.
So far I am extremely happy with this hitch. It is very heavy duty. My towing capacity has changed and needed to upgrade to a heavy duty hitch. I have no doubts this is going to be Bulletproof!! It is very well built and a solid shank.

The hitch looks very well made. I recently made some changes to my 02 F250 and needed a drop hitch.I mostly pull a #10000 GTW equipment trailer but occasionally pull a #14000 GTW dump trailer and a utility trailer with a 2" ball. This hitch fits my needs perfectly.
Worst customer service ever. Took almost two months for them to deliver my purchased items to me. After a few weeks of phone calls asking where my stuff was they finally delivered my items, later than the 5-7 business days they promised as well. I will never buy anything from this website again.
