V-Shaped Arms

 Adjustable Wheel Cradles

The NEO2 has V-shaped arms that distribute weight evenly, holding your bikes by the wheel, so it won't scratch or scuff the paint. They keep your bikes level and eliminate the need for bike frame adapter bars normally required for mounting women's, children's, and alternative frame bikes on a hanging-style bike rack.

 Adjsutable Wheel Cradles

Thick pads on the arms help keep your bikes from banging into the rack and getting scratched.

 Adjustable Wheel Cradles

The arms can be removed for access to your vehicle's rear cargo area with your bikes unloaded. The rack's arms and shank also break down small enough that you can easily store the rack in your trunk when not in use.

Adjustable Wheel Cradles and Sway Stops

 Adjustable Wheel Cradles

The upper wheel cradles adjust independently so that your bikes hang level on the rack. For support, adjust the lower sway stops so that they are flush against the bottom of your tires. To secure your bikes, pull the rubber strap on each cradle and sway stop over the wheel and hook the tightest hole around the peg at the end of the cradle.

Threaded Hitch Pin and Hitch Adapter

loaded on vehicle

The rack includes a threaded hitch pin that helps eliminate rattle in the hitch receiver during transport. The rack also works with both 1-1/4" and 2" hitches. To use it in a 1-1/4" hitch, simply remove the adapter with the included Allen key.

This purchase was to have a rack we can use when we need to bring single bikes in addition to or instead of our tandem. We have used it about a dozen times and it has been a great solution. Easy to store and set up and the wheel mount eliminates any issues with having a horizontal frame member to hang from. We've heavily loaded it several times including wedging our bike trailer between the bikes.

by:

This is a lightweight rack that holds the bikes horizontal by supporting them by their wheel rims. Adjusting it for various size bikes is easy. Bikes are well protected. There are pinned split-fit joints at the base that may be susceptible to wear after a lot of use.

by:

Saw a Youtube video and liked this. It appears strong.

by:

Very light and easy to install.

Terrific product.

The person who helped me in the online chat was very good and I decided to call to get more information. The charming lady I spoke to, Alyssa, was really good and after our chat I felt I had enough info to order. It came today and everything was perfect!

by:

This rack was a great fit for carrying my two bikes on the back of my travel trailer. However, two of the four rubber straps cracked within months and the factory considers this "normal wear" and will not replace them. If you plan on keeping this rack for more than a couple of months you need to stock up on spare straps. The factory wants $[XX] for each one but you can buy a dozen on [online] for $[XX].

by:

Great selection of products and prices.

by:

Since my bikes are full suspension, I needed rack that can hold them by the wheels, and most have trays under the wheels. This is a great alternative and quite a bit less expensive than the tray carry type. It is simple, light, and easy to use.

  • Options for Using 2-Inch Class III Bike Rack in 1-1/4-Inch Class II Hitch
A hitch adapter can allow a 2-inch accessory item like your Thule rack to be used in a 1-1/4-inch Class II hitch like Draw-Tite # 36538. But the downside to using any adapter is that it will cause you to lose 50-percent of your hitch's capacity. This is due to the change in the geometry of the system when an adapter is added. An adapter like Brophy # HT5R will fit your 1-1/4-inch Class II hitch and provide a 2-inch receiver opening as well as a 5-inch rise for better ground clearance....

  • Availability of Adapter to Allow Bike Rack to Be Carried and Tow Trailer
Sounds like you may be interested in the part # D210. This will fit your 2 inch hitch and gives you a ball mount platform down below and a hitch opening above for your bike rack. However, if you do not yet have a hitch yet, we have great news. We have the EcoHitch Hidden Trailer Hitch Receiver # 306-X7322 that has a 2" opening and a 300-pound tongue weight capacity. With this hitch, you could use the Thule Hitching Post Pro 4-bike rack # TH934XTR. I attached a video of these products...

  • Trailer Hitch Receiver and Bike Rack For a Flat Towed 2018 Chevrolet Spark to Carry 2 E-Bikes
The class I Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C11433 with the 1-1/4" receiver is the only size available for your 2018 Chevrolet Spark. There is not currently a 2" custom fit receiver for your Spark. If you were to use the Adapter # HTAD this will reduce the receiver tongue weight capacity in half. So rather than the Draw-Tite receiver being able to support 200lbs it will only be able to support 100lbs. This will likely not be enough capacity for the Thule rack and the 2 e-bikes you will...

According to my contact at Thule the now-discontinued Speedway 2 Bike Trunk Mounted Bike Rack TH961XT is not a fit for your 2009 RAV4 even without the spare tire mount. A better option for your RAV4 is a hitch-mount carrier that will use the vehicle's frame (its strongest part) to support the weight of the bike rack and loaded bikes, rather than the thin sheet metal of the rear hatch. A hitch also offers you the flexibility to use other hitch-mount items such as cargo baskets, and also...

  • Will the NEO2 Bike Carrier Clear the Spare Tire on a Jeep Liberty and Allow Rear Door to Open
To determine if the NEO2 Bike Rack, # B01748, will clear the spare tire on your Jeep Liberty, we will need to do some measuring. This bike rack measures 12 inches from the center of the hitch pin hole to the closest part of the rack. You will want to measure from the center of the hitch pin hole on your trailer hitch to the furthest point on your spare tire. If that measurement is less than 12 inches then this bike rack will clear your spare tire. There are a few more things you will...

  • Bike Rack Recommendation that Fits Shallow Factory Hitch of 2017 Subaru Outback
Since the hitch pin hole on the factory hitch on a 2017 Subaru Forester is so close to the face of the receiver not every bike rack works well. The Thule TH9058 would not be a great fit for that. • Is There a Hanging Bike Rack that Can be Used at the Rear of Travel Trailer and Fifth Wheels
At the rear of a trailer or RV the ride quality is very rough when compared to the ride quality at the rear of a passenger vehicle. Reason being the suspension isn't as sophisticated and there is a longer distance between the rear axle and the rear of the trailer which exaggerates the movement of the trailer when hitting bumps. Because of that only a few bike racks were designed to be reinforced enough for that type of use. The bike rack that is the most similar to the Camber 2 Bike Rack...

To determine if the Thule Camber 2 bike rack # TH9058 will clear the spare tire on your 2007 Toyota RAV4 we have to look at the clearance from the center of the hitch pin hole on the hitch out to clear the spare tire. On the hitches that we have installed on the 2007 RAV4 the average distance needed to clear the spare tire was 6.4375 inches (6-7/16 inches). The Camber might clear but we can't be sure. If you really wanted to be certain you would just need to make sure the distance from your hitch pin hole to the outside edge of the spare tire is no more than 12" but the trailer hitch receivers we have available for the RAV4 will allow room for the NEO2 so yours should too as well.

Going with a bike rack that is a direct fit to the Draw-Tite trailer hitch # 24863 for your 2014 Ford Mustang is a good idea. The problem with adapters is that the use of one will reduce the tongue weight capacity of the trailer hitch by 50 percent because the additional length of the adapter puts more stress on the receiver. My recommendation is to purchase an economical class I rack like the Lets Go Aero NEO2 Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Wheel Mount # B01748.
