Will the Thule Camber Bike Rack Clear the Spare Tire on a 2007 Toyota RAV4

Hello, I have a 2007 toyota rav4 with the spare tire outside on the rear of the car. Does this Thule Camber 2 Bike Rack - 1-1/4inch and 2inch Hitches - Tilting extend far enough out to clear the spare? Thanks

To determine if the Thule Camber 2 bike rack # TH9058 will clear the spare tire on your 2007 Toyota RAV4 we have to look at the clearance from the center of the hitch pin hole on the hitch out to clear the spare tire. On the hitches that we have installed on the 2007 RAV4 the average distance needed to clear the spare tire was 6.4375 inches (6-7/16 inches). The Camber might clear but we can't be sure. I think it would be too close to take a chance. The bottom of the rack sits 5-3/4 inches from the hitch pin hole. The top of the rack is out a bit farther. You can look at the video and see what you think.

The NEO2 # B01748 by LetsGoAero will clear for sure since it sits 12-1/4 inches from the hitch-pin hole.

If you will be carrying any bikes that do not have a top frame bar that goes straight across (like a typical men's bike would) then I recommend using bike adapter bar # 64005. This will allow you to carry those bikes more level and will provide better ground clearance. I have linked a video showing how the adapter works.
