90-Degree Elbow Vacuum Breaker
The vacuum breaker on this shower valve lets you attach a handheld shower set (sold separately). A handheld shower head makes it easy to clean mud and sand off of hard-to-reach areas on kids, pets, and even shower walls. And unlike your old unit, the 90-degree design of this vacuum breaker prevents your hose from twisting, bunching, or getting caught on your arm. It also has an anti-siphon device that will prevent your dirty shower water from seeping backward and contaminating your clean water supply. The anti-siphon device consists of an air hole that will drain water back out of the hose.
2-Hole Installation
This valve lets you replace or upgrade the shower valve of your exterior RV shower. Using the inlet shanks, slide the new valve and deck plate in place through the mounting holes of the old, broken valve. Then hand-tighten the included mounting nuts, and connect the hot and cold water lines.

Hello, everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at the Empire Faucets RV outdoor shower valve with the 90 degree vacuum breaker, the dual knob handles, and a black finish. Now, this is a wall mount RV shower faucet that'll let you upgrade the outdoor shower in your RV or your camper. You can see it has the top mount, 90 degree elbow vacuum breaker, which allows you to attach your handheld shower hose to the faucet. That shower hose we do sell separately on our website.
The vacuum breaker is nice to have because that'll prevent the backflow contamination of your clean water supply. And the 90 degree design on this is to prevent your hose from kinking. It is a dual handle design. Has the crystal knob style handles. And it is a quarter turn cartridge stem, which enables the faucet to turn on and off.
This is a non-metallic ABS plastic construction. You can see it is a black color. And as we mentioned, it is a wall mount two-hole installation. The inlet shanks right here will have standard male NPSM connections. Does come with the deck plate and the two mounting nuts for installation.
Basically, when you install this, you put your deck plate on there. And then put your mounting nuts on the inlets, thread it down to hold it into place. Same way on this one. Now, it will require some tile and tub caulk for installation. That is not included.
You would have to supply that. Few specs on this, give you the overall dimension. The width of it, one end to the other is right at six inches wide. The total depth from the bottom to the top of the vacuum breaker is three inches tall. And the depth we're gonna measure from the front of the knob to where it attaches to the wall, so that's gonna be right at three inches. Now, the distance between the inlet shanks is your standard center to center four inch measurement. And the inlet shank, the inner diameter is half an inch. But that should do it for the review on the Empire Faucets RV outdoor shower valve with the 90 degree vacuum breaker, the dual knob handles, and a black finish..

Nice item. hard to find the 90-degree elbow. The outdoor shower box is designed for only this elbow fitting.

- Is There a Way to Use the Empire Faucets Shower Valve with a Garden Hose Providing the WaterI have good news and bad news. The good news is that there is a way to use the Empire Faucets Shower Valve # EM64JR with a garden hose using an adapter. The bad news is that we do not carry that adapter. The Empire Faucets Shower Valve # EM64JR has standard male NPSM connections for the inlets. So you just need a NPSM to garden hose adapter.
