The vacuum breaker lets you attach a handheld shower set (sold separately) to make cleaning mud and sand off the kids, pets, and shower walls even easier. The vacuum breaker also has an anti-siphon device - a small air hole that drains water back out of the hose to prevent your dirty shower water from contaminating your clean water supply.
This valve lets you upgrade the shower valve in your RV or camper. Using the standard NPSM inlet shanks, slide the new valve and deck plate in place through the mounting holes. Then hand-tighten the included mounting nuts against the backside of the wall, and connect the hot and cold water lines.

after xmas to easter trailer build, very happy with everything i got from etrailer, inside and outside showers, 2nd toilet, 2nd cook and cleanup area, out of the weather garage for utv and motorcycle, added freezer to our travels, running off solar, still alot of work ahead, not done with you guys yet, thanks for your great resource!
We use these faucets to make portable decontamination showers for our various environmental projects. they are attached to vented closet shelves and then hung in a 3' X 3" room area that is part of decontamination set up. The faucets are easy to install and meet our requirements.
I replaced an old controller that was leaking. This worked perfect and was easy to install. Shipping was fast communication from etrailer.com was great.

The vacuum breaker on my 2006 Prowler Lynx went bad and continually leaked when pressure was on, After looking for a replacement part and not being able to find one, this shower vlave, being 4" from inlet to inlet was a perfect fit and everything hooked right up.
A good product,easy to install,come with all necessary parts needed to install and took about 10 minuets from start to finish to be operational.

Almost a year from purchase, still works and looks great!!
As it’s deliberately made light weight for RV usage it’s probably as good as it can be. I do wish it the manufacturer had made this shower valve somewhat heavier and with a more substantial feel. This was part of replacing a shower surround that had been in service 22 years and it was quite a project! As a FYI for all you other do it yourselfers, the refrigerator had to be removed to get to the plumbing connections. A daunting task indeed.

After 1 year of service, the shower valve is still working great.
This is the second time ordering from etrailer, both times I have been satisfied. One was a hitch for my Ford Van, was perfect fit, the second was a shower part. I highly recommend this company.
This faucet is not used in an RV but rather as part of a decontamination set up for dealing with hazardous materials. We use a 3 chamber decontamination with the center chamber being a shower. This is where this particular faucet is deployed on a shower board with a retention basin under it. Because these are completely plastic and cost efficient sometimes we need to dispose of the entire set up as hazardous waste so we are not throwing out hundreds of dollars but rather a much smaller sum.
The set up I make can be used for recreational purposes as a portable outdoor shower for use at a camp or the beach also.
bought this to replace a faucet/shower valve combo. I removed the sink basin and didn't require a faucet anymore. This was the perfect replacement.
