Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a quick look at this Empire Faucets RV Shower Valve with vacuum breaker, this is going to allow you to upgrade the bathroom shower valve in your RV or camper. This is a non metallic ABS plastic construction, so it is going to be very lightweight. You're not gonna have to worry about rust and corrosion, that sort of thing. It does have this oil rubbed bronze finish to it, so it is going to look very nice for you. You can see, we do have the dual handle design here, that's going to allow us to fine tune our temperature.

Our quarter turn cartridge stems enable our faucet to turn on and off, and the washerless design is going to help reduce friction and daily wear, so this is gonna be a much longer lasting very durable piece for you. The vacuum breaker does allow you to attach a handheld shower set, it is sold separately, it's not included, but it is going to help prevent any backflow contamination of your clean water supply by ensuring that the water only flows out to your shower set. This is a wall mount installation, so you are going to need two holes for the two inlet shanks. These inlet shanks are both your standard half inch male NPSM connections, so it should work with your current setup, very easy to get hooked up. The distance between these, from center to center, is right at four inches.

The deck plates and mounting nuts are included, so it should be a very easy to get this pressed up against your wall for installation. Now, they do recommend picking up some tile and tub caulk to get that sealed off. To finish up your installation, make sure that you're not gonna have any water leaking back behind there. Again, that's not included, but it should be very easy to find to finish off that installation.
