Today we'll be reviewing part number CAM39144. This is the Camco Easy Slip Elbow Fitting and 4-in-1 Adapter for RV sewer hoses. The easy slip adapters make connecting your RV's sewer hose to a dump station a little bit easier. It is designed to fit all 3" sewer hose systems and slip over fittings. The elbow fitting is going to help relieve stress on your hose when attaching to the dump station inlet. It also has a unique tapered design that's going to allow non-restrictive free flow. It's a pretty simple installation.
Just slide the tapered end into your sewer hose and secure it with the attached spin-lock ring. Just turn the spin-lock ring around the sewer hose and the wires are going to engage and it's going to hold everything secure. It's also going to provide a air-tight seal to eliminate odors and leaks. No extra clamps or tools are needed. The 4-in-1 adapter is going to accept elbow fittings for secure connection to the dump station inlet. It's designed to fit a 3" slip, 3", 3-1/2", and 4" threaded pipe inlets. The engineering-grade resins provide strength and durability and the pieces also separate for easy storage in a 4" RV bumper.

Just as with my previous orders, this one came in good time and in good shape. I'm glad Oregon requires such a rv sewer connection, and I'm sure my fellow campers will appreciate the lack of odor emanating from my sewer line.

I haven't used it yet, but it will probably do what it's intended to do. The sewer hose is a VERY tight fit, and the clamping ring doesn't "screw on" without a lot of force, but it's not necessary to get a good seal. The lugs that secure the adapter to the elbow are small and potentially fragile, but work OK if treated gently.

Really nice fitting for the park end of your drain hose. It ensures a tight, leak-free joint in most every type and size of drain pipe.

The Camco Easy Slip Elbow Fitting and 4-in-1 Adapter for RV Sewer Hoses # CAM39144 can be split into 2 pieces for easy storage in your RV bumper. view full answer... - Tips for Slipping a Sewer Hose Onto a Fittingit depends on the fitting. On some, such as # CAM39144, the tube tapers down at the end so it is more narrow. Then you would sort of twist the hose back and forth while pushing it on. Once on far enough you would secure it using a clamp or, this the above part, a strap. Other permanent fittings clamp or crimp onto the hose like the fitting that is already on it. Some times it is easier to push the hose on when it is stretch and not bunched up so that could be another issue. Some soapy...
