Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com, and today we're gonna take a brief look at this replacement Gen-Y Hitch Aluminum Loading Ramp. Now, this is going to replace one Gen-Y Hitch Aluminum Loading Ramp for the set there that you see on your screen. And this ramp is made here in the USA, and it has a weight capacity of 3,000 pounds combined with your other ramp. Of course, you're gonna get that weight capacity of 6,000 pounds. And just like the ramp that you are replacing, the overall length of this ramp is 72 inches long, 14 inches wide, and the overall thickness is about two and three quarters inch thick.
Now, just like the ramp that you are replacing, this ramp here has the serrated rungs that are going to grip your wheels, even if the ramp or the wheels are wet. And the rung dimensions are 14 inches long, two inches wide. And we have a sturdy hook, let me tip this over here, just so you can see. Just like your other one, this has a sturdy hook that is welded to the top that's going to tightly grab onto the edge of your trailer deck. And with this secure grip, the ramp will stay connected to your trailer as you load your equipment.
Taking a quick view of the bottom here of this ramp, the bottom is going to allow for easier loading. And this ramp itself weighs right at about 30 pounds. And this is the replacement from Gen-Y Hitch, so you can have the confidence that it's going to be just like the one that you are needing to replace, just like the one that you already have, it's gonna be of the same build quality and everything like that. So, you're not gonna have to worry about compatibility issues or anything like that. This ramp is just what I needed for occasional use as a center ramp on a 2-ramp trailer, for loading and unloading a tricycle-style antique tractor. The product is apparently made in the USA which is a real plus. The welds appear to be of high quality. I fabricated a support for the ramp using schedule 40 steel pipe components that can be easily installed or removed. I haven't yet loaded or unloaded the tractor, but I have every reason to believe that this ramp is perfecto!

Very heavy duty well made product.Handled my Kubota B20 loading on a trailer just fine. I made mistake & only ordered 1 of these type ramps which come not as pairs. Called customer service they handled getting the second one to me the same day as the 1st one I ordered. Customer service is top notch

There is not a ramp with a similar 6,000-lbs total (combined) but you could get a wider ramp with the Loading Ramp Set - Aluminum - 65" Long x 20-1/2" Wide - 3,000 lbs - Qty 2 # 288-07489, which is 20-1/2" wide. The only downside to going this route is that these ramps only have a 3k capacity (combined). There is a 15" wide Gen-Y ramp set with the Gen-Y Hitch Aluminum Loading Ramp Set - 96" Long x 15"...
